Relaxing and good food excellent wine list , good service
Really nice place. Service was good and friendly and most of all the food was good.
My first course had 3 slices of bread with a selection of toppings. 1 was OK (mushrooms in cream) the other 2 were diced tomato and something which was tasteless and both were pointless and uninteresting.
With my main course the sauce around the dome of pasta and meatballs was cold, and even after it was bought back to me it was barely warm.
The dessert - panettone bread pudding was a triumph.
Chicken breast supposedly stuffed with parma ham and asparagus priced at £13.95 was a rip of!f
The food and service are always absolutely fantastic. Staff are friendly, they remember your face (even after a year!) and clearly know the menu inside and out. Never a long wait, even when it's busy, and the food is always absolutely delicious. The menu is full of dishes I'd love to try, but I often find myself drawn to the sensational Capella Romana. I would eat here every day if I could! I've not even tackled the deli counter yet. Next time...
Great Italian food and great wine list...one to recommend
innovative menu, good wine list, good service, food attractively presented. Helpful waiting staff.
We don't normally eat in Weybridge and wanted a place to eat where we could talk. The food and service were really good and this is a great little find. We wish we had something similar where we live.
Birthday lunch with my daughter, lovely food, attentive service when needed and left alone when chatting. Lovely relaxed lunch with family
Met with friend good food and wine, great place to visit at Avery good price
Other than 12 and a half percent being put automatically on the bill and the cappuccino the restaurant is fine. I will stick to la casa in future where the tip is down to customer to decide and the cappuccino isn't all round the cup!!!
The special set Valentines menu was a fantastic deal. Three course and a glass of Prosecco for £24.95. The fizz was much better quality than I had expected and the food was authentic Italian and delicious. We will be back!
Nice, welcoming staff. Great tasting burgers & reasonably priced. Definitely will return.
Food and wine are fantastic..the best italian in surrey
Staff were fantastic! Food was good and a great venue. No problem booking a table at the time I wanted on a Friday night:
Fabulous restaurant that offers great food and excellent customer service. Will definitely be eating there again soon!
Lovely food and service. Best Italian around, great for solo lunches or dinner with friends and family
Lovely atmosphere and delicious pizzas. Very friendly and efficient staff.
The “experience” did not happen! They did not have the table for us and the restaurant was full, and they did not make any effort to have us. We decided to leave and have our dinner at a different venue which was great after all.
Perfect in every aspect. Great Italuan food and Delicatessen.
I would say if booking with Open Table confirm with Valentina as reservation did not register with the restaurant. We were accommodated any way.
We went for breakfast and I thought the choices of breakfasts were imaginative and a bit unusual.
Pretty poor to be honest.
Easy enough location to find.
We were the only diners.
Menu is pretty standard, I think they download it from google and send it to most "Italians".
For being so quiet the service was quite hap hazard.
Wouldn't have said the pasta was home made. Not on site for sure. Maybe elsewhere. more likely by machine.
An assault on "Italian food" but otherwise a good place to stop for a coffee.
Wouldn't rush back.
First time visitor, not hugely enthralled by any aspect of the experience to be honest.
Seems super random to have a restaurant in the back of a shop.
Not sure what this place is all about if I am honest.
We always enjoy meeting our friends here - a nice easy going atmosphere with great food and good service always.
Would recommend this to friends anytime and we shall look forward to our next visit with you !!
Great service and superb food for a vegetarian, a pescatarian and two gluten free friends! Shame it wasn't busier for a Saturday night but at least that meant we didn't have to wait too long!
We had a delightful dinner with great food, excellent service and lovely Prosecco! We dined early so it was relatively quiet but got busier as the evening went on. The staff were fantastic!
Food and service excellent - this is the second time we have been. The disappointing thing was that we were not told about or given the menu/details of the fixed price set menu which would have saved money as three of our party had pizza/pasta dishes and I feel we should have been told about this
Lovely staff, good food and handy location on the High St
I took my wife and two teenage children for lunch and the quality of food and service was outstanding. The pizzas were some of the best we have ever had
We have returned to Valentina Weybridge several times and never been disappointed. The food is authentic Italian (with more than just pizza & pasta) and it has a good wine list. The service staff are attentive and fun. The dining room is always full, so it guarantees a lovely atmosphere as well.
I usually have a lot of love for this restaurant, especially under Marco, the rather eccentric manager and his lovely team.
But Marco has now moved on and the manager in charge didn't seem to want to be there. Cold, no smiles - a real change to the usual service we get here.
Food is great, fairly priced and promptly served. But the change in management seems to show.
Popped in for brunch only to find they don't serve cooked Breakfasts during the week. Disappointing visit as had to settle for toast. Would like to try it again, but found this quite strange.
I read the reviews for Valentia and booked online for a family treat, five adults and was not disappointed the food was fabulous and the service very good indeed the waiters were very entertaining and very attentive which made our night , nothing too much trouble would certainly visit again when in the area.
We have visited this restaurant a few times. We have driven over 50 miles for a visit.
we will not be returning. The food was cold and tasteless. I always order the same. It has gone downhill a great deal. Very, very disappointing. Would not recommend.
Waitress needed more experience.
Excellent food, as always - friendly, helpful staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a good time
We had a team dinner with my collegues .. Very friendly service and good food.
Real Italian food , will visit again .
I let the restaurant know it was our wedding anniversary and wasn't expecting anything from it, but when we arrived they had covered our table in rose petals and made a special happy anniversary sign, lovely touches! Very helpful staff with food and wine choices which were both lovely. Would definitely recommend
Went as a small group with some family, found that the food was lovely, and there were lots of gluten-free options which was a big plus as one of our party was gluten intolerant. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming, and impressively managed to remember all our orders without writing them down. Very lovely atmosphere. Food was a bit pricey but not shockingly so. Will hopefully go again
My husband had the spicy sausage pizza and I had the tiger prawn risotto, both were from the specials menu. My risotto came with one tiger prawn which I had to de-shell on the top and in the rice were tiny bits of chopped up prawn, I was expecting lots of big prawns throughout. The risotto tasted quite bland and was disappointing. My husbands pizza was nice but there was more cheese than sausage and its wasn't that spicy at all.
The service was pretty grim, the waiter appears as though he had a very heavy weekend and wasn't very attentive. When he eventually asked for our drinks order we decided to order the entire meal rather than wait another 15 mins or so for him to come back and take our food order.
We had the bread with balsamic vinegar and oil to start, this was lovely although the waiter only gave a very small amount of oil and balsamic so we had to catch his attention to ask for more, instead of bringing the bottles to the table and letting us just put what we wanted in he insisted on pouring it and poured way too much oil for the once piece of bread which was left and then proceeded to pick up the balsamic by the pourer at the top which is no only unhygienic but the pourer top detached from the bottom mid air and half a bottle of balsamic poured all over the inside of my husbands brand new coat he had got that day which was on the chair. The waiter didn't event apologise and then tried to wipe it off the coat with the clothe he had used to wipe the balsamic off the table. Unfortunately due to my husbands coat being a waxed jacket it cannot be dry cleaned or washed. The waiter then refused to serve us going forward and made the waitress serve us who started joking about her not dropping our food all over us as well, my husband was not impressed!
We spoke to the Manager who was very apologetic and gave us the money for the coat plus a bag of produce from the shop in the restaurant. Its such a shame our experience was bad.
Irony of irony, me and two other ladies who I met because we all do the same classes at our local gym get together every 6 weeks or so for a Prosecco fueled evening of chat and general "setting the world to rights". We have been pretty much working our way along our local High Street and so we came to spend an evening at Valentina. A super menu (including a perfectly cooked sea bass for those watching weight or on high protein / low carb diets), light touch service in that glasses were topped up and food brought and cleared without being obtrusive or rushing us. We will definitely come again. Thank you Valentina :-)
My first time at this restaurant and I thought it was lovely. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday. Was cosy and the waiters were lovely. Will be going back for sure. The food was lovely to!
