Lovely restaurant, great decor and ambience, spacious not noisy, brilliant service, pasta delicious could do a bit better on other courses
Although the atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming, the food was way below average. I went for lunch together with my son. My food arrived 10 minutes before his, which should never happen. And when his food arrived it was such an awful “fish finger”, with no seasoning whatsoever, that it would have been better if his food didn’t came at all. I had a rabbit Ragu, which as alright but nothing extra special. Would not return.
Can not fault a thing! Went for a mid-week birthday meal with my husband. All staff were very professional and friendly. The food was perfectly prepared, balanced and presented.
An unexpected bonus was chef's delicious complimentary gazpacho and a chocolate written birthday message along with a scoop of delicious ice cream.
The decor was unique, classy and calming. It wasn't too busy, which was a bonus for us to enjoy a quiet evening. I will definitely return.
Another excellent meal. Cannot fault the incredibly high level of service (from the moment you are met at the gate by a caped waiter) or the varied and delicious menu. It’s a firm favourite.
Excellent food, accommodating staff, nice decor. A tad expensive if being critical (£140 for two), but cannot complain. Third time going there, will definitely go again
Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. The courtyard is the best and most welcoming outside space in Chiswick
Staff are always welcoming and attentive. Food is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue
Wonderful restaurant and service was very old fashioned and attentive which I loved. I went for no reason but it is probably good for special occasions and dates
A truly lovely place. Super staff, great food, fun, relaxed, welcoming, charming. Made our family feel very at home. We'd been twice before as a couple, but this time with kids. We hope it continues to thrive.
A beautiful restaurant and fantastic cocktails as well as attentive staff but the food was substandard for the price.
Far too expensive, not great quality produce and again highly overpriced!!
Lovely ambience , nice and buzzy. Good varied choice on offer , excellent service and tasty food.
Meat eating friend lived it as a near vegan it is pretty hard to find anything filling and tasty. Staff are fab wine list expensive but wide choice and a few unreasonably priced wines. I confess I left hungry and 50 quid worse off. So if you eat meat it is pretty fab if you don't then I would avoid it.
Perfect restaurant , food and service . Thoroughly enjoyed it as always
A nice Hidden gem in Chiswick with traditional Italian cuisine
Ordered a crab pasta dish and there was barely any crab - very disappointing. Portion size for the price is not acceptable.
We like this restaurant -- food quality is very high. Having been many times to this restaurant, my only observation is that the menu doesnt change much, and there are no "specials" that add a bit of variety. Otherwise, it is a great place for dinner and socialising. The staff serving us were superlative.
Nice place, nice atmosphere, service was perfect and food was great.
We really enjoyed our dinner.
We really enjoyed the venue - it had a very quirky feel and the bar was particularly pleasant. The style was relaxed and the staff all very friendly. We really enjoyed the food and it was quite something to have a tasting menu with wine pairing moving from red back to white, but it worked ! The only downside was that although we had asked for a break between our last main and the dessert, once we had asked for the dessert, it did take a while and I did get a little cold in the restaurant.
Lovely venue, lovely people, would definitely recommend it to others
Our evening was fantastic - we were celebrating 2 birthdays and the staff went out of there way to make it special for them - the food was superb and the waiter attentive to our needs . We will certainly visit again - thank you
Awesome - a real gem
The food was good but the whole experience was let down by where we were sat and being told we could not change our table. I booked perhaps 4-6 weeks before the lunch date and we were the first to arrive at the restaurant's opening time of 12 noon meaning none of the other tables were occupied yet. We were sat right by the door getting all of the cold every time the front door was opened, the loud noise from the nearby bar crushing ice and it felt like we were literally in a doorway and passageway and on top of the position of the table, we were quite cramped as 6 people on our small circular table. Not what I expected of a restaurant like this. We asked if we could move and were told the whole restaurant was booked. This still doesn't explain why we can't swap our table when every other table was still empty?! I doubt that all of the other tables had booked their location or as far in advance as we had. It's a real shame as we like the food and the building. I would only return again if we could secure a proper seating arrangement.
My boyfriend had I a very nice dinner at Villa di Geggiano a few days ago. Absolutely LOVE the atmosphere, with suffused lighting and classy furniture. The food was also very good, especially the salmon burger. Red shrimps risotto can be improved though. The service was good, all waiters were kind and attentive and the head waiter also surprised us with a "happy anniversary" and a nice vanilla ice cream scoop, lovely! Overall it's been a great discovery, will definitely be back!
One of the best restaurants in town! Loved the lounge at the entrance, we had a glass of champagne before moving to our table. Superb food and wine selection. Would definitely go back soon.
Ideal for special occasion, great food menu with lots of choices.
Great atmosphere, great food and very friendly staff.
Such a beautiful restaurant. The service was brilliant and the food amazing. Will definitely be going back.
> Welcome- a warm welcome at 12noon on Sunday, coat put
away, shown the beautiful, spacious lounge.Relaxed with
sparkling water, admiring the many, eclectic works of art,
whilst waiting for my son.
>Son arrived, enjoyed our pre lunch interlude in the peaceful
lounge, sampling non-alcoholic cocktails.Very pleasant, swift service.
Refreshing Virgin Mojito.
> To the dining room,we opted for the weekend lunch special.
adding an assortment of delicious Italian breads with olive oil,
perfect accompaniment to first course velvety, delicately flavoured
pumpkin soup with almonds.
For main course, my son enjoyed the vegetarian pasta, and I the
tender pork ribs.
The noise level in the lovely, spacious dining room was minimal.
Spotless white table linen ,very attentive, pleasant service.
We retired to the comfort of the lounge for great coffee,
a very special hot chocolate for my son.
All staff were gracious, helpful, seamless service.
We will return to our local Villa di Geggiano
Fabulous food and great friendly service! One of our favourite Italian restaurants!
We had a wonderful evening. The service was excellent and non intrusive. Made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was superb. In my opinion this is one of the finest Italian restaurants in London
Our new favourite Italian restaurant.
The wines are slightly on the expensive side but the food and service was outstanding.
Amazing place !!! Great for a night out , date or birthday!!!
Great food one of the best stakes that I had for a long time
Good selection of wine
Great restaurant. Service very friendly, from the greeter at the door to the chatty waiter. Food very authentic and well prepared and presented.
An absolutely lovely evening with great food wonderful wines and impeccable service.
Nice atmosphere, good recommendation on food. Comfortable light and decor.
Would not return - I made my booking a month in advance so was very disappointed to find that we were sat at a table 30cm from the draw in which they kept the cutlery. This was accessed rather loudly approximately every 1 minute with waiting staff’s rear ends in our faces. Any attempt at a normal dinner was abandoned before the starter and despite the constant interruption we mostly had to pour our own water and wine.
Deeply disappointing given the food was very nice and the staff otherwise charming.
The evening was capped off by one waiter quizzing why we were not paying for the digestive drink which a member of the bar staff had granted us in an effort to apologise - turning what could have been a good gesture into further awkwardness.
Lovely wine (Chianti Classico Resturant own vintage) £45.
As you would expect for 14th February. Many tables for 2
Portion size small for what you pay but food is delicious. Wife had sea bass and I had pork. Beautiful!
Staff very attentive
We will return
Lovely waiter, amazing food, decoration also very nice. Bit expensive but I would recommend to visit as one off experience.
Lovely restaurant, definitely recommend
