Vintage 1891 Kitchen
Wonderful experience with my wife during our 4th wedding anniversary. Very friendly staff and awesome tasting food. Wine was delicious and we couldn't stop eating the truffle popcorn.
All in all we had a great time and found a new place to celebrate special occasions! Thank you to everyone there for making our day that much more special.
We had such a wonderful meal. The restaurant has a very warm and inviting character. Service and food were both exceptional. I look forward to returning there. A real find.
We love Vintage and have been going for years. The food is always great and it is such a pretty restaurant. We always take people there for a nice/special dinner out.
Waitress was very nice and worked very hard but kitchen was slow. We waited a long time for the food. Food was excellent. Very noisy and not even so crowded.
The oysters have returned! Co-staring with diver scallops. The pork chop was great and of course a terrific bottle of wine. Another great meal a Vintage.
Always a 10+
4 people shared 7 small plates & 1 dinner. It was fantastic. Plenty to eat & delicious.
Enjoyable atmosphere. No rush.
Definitely will be going back with other friends.
I already have recommended Vintage 1891 Kitchen to a friend!
And I will definitely be back soon!
This was another great meal at our favorite restaurant in South Westchester. New apps (gazpacho and shrimp) and new main (chicken Milanese) and standby the paella. Great wine and service. Now all they need to do is bring back the oysters and grilled swordfish. Nothing has even come close.
Food was very good and it was a nice quiet relaxing environment (we were there on the early side). I little expensive for the overall offering but would definitely recommmed.
Love this restaurant! The food, service and decor is perfect!
Go all the time. First time had service issues. Sat at table unattended for 15 minutes watching people seated well after us get servied. When addressed it with the wait staff, seemed totally unconcerned or offered any explanation or apology. I should have addressed with the on site manager. My error!!
Always a great experience and food is wonderful
Our waiter and the chef were very amenable to our food allergy needs and produced an amazing variation on the tuna dish without onions or garlic. The space is mod yet cozy, and a great place for a romantic date or group dinner.
Came with our sons. It was their first time there. Everyone raves about the experience and food
One of our favorite local restaurants. But I wish they would bring back the lamb chops. Great service.
Lovely evening. Delicious food. Great service.
All rare for our area!
Food was excellent and very attentive staff
Hard to find fault with anything at what is clearly the best restaurant in the area. My wife and I
shared the incredibly fresh salmon and the unique lobster paella dish, after sharing the new
crab salad appetizer. We have dined at Vintage many times, and never come away disappointed.
Reservations are a must, as the word seems to have gotten out about this charming gem on Post Road
Been there twice. Once on a busy night. Once on a quiet night. Both times were great. Love it.
Worked well for group of 5 for dinner. Very attentive service . Food was good, not great. For example, one person who ordered short ribs , noted dish was good but that the mash potatoes were inedible ( no taste) - a shame as so easy to make.
We’ve eaten here ~6 times before and always had an excellent meal, today’s couldn’t have been more different.
We went for an early dinner so it was quiet, but there were at least 3-5 servers / busboys hovering around waiting for us to finish anything and then whisking plates / glasses away as soon as anything was set down.
They got one of the appetisers wrong, my main course was tepid, the roasted sprouts that came with it were burnt and the carrots were raw. Other diners in our party had the sliders which were also burnt, a steak that was over cooked accompanied by burnt asparagus and burnt on the bottom potato gratin. We also had to chase for a side order thar didn’t materialise despite being quiet.
Our server was great and comped us a lot of the meal when we raised it but it was an incredibly disappointing visit, based on previous meals. They also messed around with the lighting in the main dining room for the duration of the entire meal which drove us crazy!
Great atmosphere, with a fun buzz
Can eat at the bar and pick on a satisfying bar menu or full menu
Nice wine selection
We are definite fans of Vintage. I am adding this review because the meal last night was terrific. the special crab appetizer was great (2 weeks in a row). They have also tweaked the presentation of a few entres. We had the duck and chicken both really delicious. As always the service is first rate, the folks are so nice (thanks Amy) and it all adds up to a wonderful night. Can't wait for them to bring back the oysters.
This restaurant makes great dishes very fresh ingredients with great tastes. The service is great along with the drinks give it a try.
Near perfection. The hosting staff was SO warm and friendly; the ambience is perfect -- upscale but not stuffy. The food was ALL absolutely DELICIOUS and prepared to order, and I loved the interesting array of wines available by the glass.
Just one hint to the wait-staff: you could have easily earned a bigger check and corresponding bigger gratuity if you checked on our empty beverage glasses a little more quickly. We walked to the restaurant to celebrate and found ourselves waiting for something to toast with a little too long. That is our only quibble!
First time here and every dish was excellent. The appetizers we had were the crostini and the tuna tartar both were killer. The lobster Paella was amazing and event the desserts were awesome, the ricotta kisses and the chocolate cheesecake with berry compote was a little piece of heaven. Would go back here in a heartbeat. It was Mother’s Day so it was busy and not one misstep.
We’ve been dining here since it opened, and remain entranced by the “private party” atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. But what impresses me most is how consistently great the food is. This weekend we had the paella and a lamb special, and both were delicious and beautifully presented. Even the romaine salad was notable, with crunchy shallots topping the sharable dish. The tuna tartare is always a hit. Great service topped it off. Kudos to Amy and the entire staff for achieving one of the hardest things for a restaurant - keeping things at the highest level, maintaining consistency and making every visit feel like a special event.
Vintage is our favorite restaurant in South Westchester. The food tonight was terrific really delicious. The great Paella and newish Chicken Milanese were wonderful. The service, personnel ambience and (of course) the food, keep us coming back. Tonight continues the streak.
The food was absolutely delicious. There are still some things I would like to go back and try. Ben was a fantastic and friendly waiter. Just a little loud on a Saturday night but otherwise amazing restaurant.
Always love going to Vintage. Nice relaxed but elegant vibe and always feels cozy & welcoming. food is always delicious & service is excellent
Stylish and tasteful, good food, awesome experience.
First time there
Warm and friendly
Wonderful friendly service
Will definitely go back!
Food was very good. Service was excellent. Perhaps noise level a little too loud.
We love this restaurant. Tonight we had appetizers and the lobster paella. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend the paella. The rice was so creamy, the fish cooked to perfection. Service was just right, attentive and not intrusive. We will definitely come back.
Dennis is a great server! All excellent nice might.
For an older group with or without hearing aids the sound level is too loud but it is a reflection of structure
A wonderful spot for great food with a great bar.
Many food choices and their truffle popcorn is fantastic.
Great food and service. A little noisy.
