They have the best wine flights in the city!!
The wine menu is excellent! If you're looking for small bites and good wine, head here. When we started to explore the bigger plates, the food became mediocre at best. Service and ambiance is also top notch!
We love sitting at the bar as usual! Every time we stop by Philly we come here to grab a drink. And last night was our anniversary, the bartender was super nice and sweet!
Absolutely perfect dinner from start to finish. We casually had some apps and drinks and it was a great experience!
omg best restaurant ever. i love this place so much
Always a great meal and Elena and Todd took great care of us as always.
Great staff and amazing wine flights! Went with friends and the staff personalized the wine flights we wanted and the music playing was a great vibe! Find for a date night or an outing with friends. Would definitely come back and will now be my favorite wine bar in Philly!
I love the food here and the people! This is a regular spot for me
This place is such a wonderful casual awesome place
So excited that Vintage is back. Steak frites were perfect. Ambiance was per usual-relaxed elegance. We will be back!
My first time here - very chic atmosphere with the chandelier and exposed brick walls.
Rude, poor service, dismissive staff.
I went here for my birthday and it was great! The wine was amazing! The cheese and bread boards where the best. The shrimp and cucumber salad were spicier than expecting but this place was really great! I highly highly recommend!
This restaurant had unbelievably rude service. Waiters in a wine bar should be willing and eager to talk about the wine they are serving; our server was Condescending and gruff. When we arrived a bartender gesticulated to a table in the back corner of the restaurant and told us to go sit down -no one escorted us to our table. The menu on open table that was linked was not an accurate representation of the extremely limited menu of fries and cheese boards that were available. We were extremely disappointed and have no desire to return. Do not waste your money at vintage wine bar.
A tale of two servers! Our party of five professionals were promptly seated outside in a great setup with an adjustable overhead heat lamp. It was warm, but our gentleman server, gruff and seemed annoyed to have us at his table. Since this is a wine focused restaurant with a French twist, our friend Katy was very interested in learning about their wines. Yes, they had a QR code but when she asked about the wines the waiter seemed very annoyed that she had questions. This general tone continued when she inquired about what was in the what wine flight. When the flight was delivered it came with generous pours and a printed list of each of the wines. Why be annoyed with her questions? I can’t remember what I ate for breakfast but he could’ve just brought out the printed list for her to look at. The night had an excellent change for the better when a friendly and engaged woman took over our table. The food was delicious, the service welcoming, and the night finished on a high note. When we got our bill ($475) we started to calculate the tip and realized that 20% was automatically added. Generally, that would be the minimum we would tip but we all felt like our second server earned that and more, while our first, hmmm, not really. It would’ve be nice to know in advance that a tip would’ve been automatically added. It made us wonder if that explained our first server. I know these are tough times, my husband works the front line in a Center City grocery store. Going out with friends and spending this amount of money for dinner is a treat. The food was delicious, the wine well priced and tasty. We tracked down our second server, passed her an additional tip and thanked her for a great night.
The atmosphere was perfect. Dimly lit, candles, the whole ambiance was glorious. The service was the best I have ever had. The staff was fun, helpful, and ever so kind. The food and drinks were tremendous! I absolutely recommend and will be back for sure
The staff made the place even better than it already was!! Made a birthday celebration super special and fun!
The wine choices were quite nice. The cheese and meat charcuterie was delightful. Really liked the meal, the wine and the ambiance. A very hip feel to the restaurant.
The restaurant was closed without warning. No sign, no call or text. We drove in from Central NJ to see our daughter and when we walked up the restaurant was dark
Fantastic wines- solid red wine selection. We didn't intend on eating, but went for an appetizer and have to say that the calamari was probably one of the best I've had! Can't wait to come back. Fantastic ambiance, warm and friendly staff. Felt very safe with Covid- protocols (this was our first time dining out since March of last year since getting vaccinated) and Vintage made it a lovely and memorable experience. Cheers!
I love this place. So glad they’re back open. It’s my go to wine bar in the city.
Safe seating ( we sat outside but indoor available ). Nice wine selection. Knowledgeable staff if you want a recommendation. Fancy to simple food, always delicious.
The food was ok, the cheese board was not bad but not anything to write home about. I would go back to vintage wine bar for a glass of wine but I wasn’t impressed with the food. The server was nice.
Excellent service, loved the masks and face shields worn by staff. Friendly staff, warm ambiance.
I don’t usually write reviews, but wanted to warn other people not to spend money here. Although we sat outside, I will say that the ambience inside the restaurant was very nice, but the the food and service were absolutely horrible. My chicken sandwich was burnt, the charcuterie board was the weakest one i’ve ever seen, with the meats looking like they came from a Starbucks package, our waiter refused to write anything down and made mistakes in our order several times, and it took a considerable amount of time just to be greeted and for the drink order to be taken. We understand that food options and service should expectedly suffer given the current situation, but I would expect a mistake-free experience and food that is at least up to par with its price, especially when gratuity is charged automatically.
Amazing. Elena the waitress had great energy and super polite
Good wine, decent charcuterie board, well done outside seating! Would go back, but also have had better.
The menu is limited but the staff is welcoming and quirky. The house red is fabulous as well.
I have so much empathy for struggling restaurants right now (I'm a server myself) and I'm doing my best to support them, but I'm going to give Vintage some time to have a standard of quality again before returning.
Majority of the menu was out of stock, house red or white were the only wines by the glass. I ordered an aperol spritz, but it only consisted of aperol and club soda, without any sparkling and no warning or reduction in price. We also ordered their version of the Moscow mule which was spirited with gin instead of vodka, but there was little ginger beer, if any, and was overpowered with lime that was far too sour to be fresh.
The escargot was beautiful and delicious, buttery and seasoned perfectly. The cheeseboard, however, though consisted of good-sized portions, did not have well-rounded selections and was paired was fruit that was bruised and wrinkled.
I'm glad to have been able to support one of my old favorites and hope they are able to bounce back.
I usually love this place but I won’t be going back until normal dining is resumed. The limited menu wasn’t great.
We have dined at Vintage 2 other times and think that this particular time they were truly having an off night. Our appetizers and initial drinks were great until we got to their sangria. We ordered a pitcher and expected from a wine restaurant, that it would be incredible. The sangria delivered was mostly club soda with very little wine taste at all. We let the waiter know and he came back after adding a bit more “sangria mix,” whatever that is. It didn’t make the sangria better at all. The previous meals we have had at Vintage were delicious. We were very disappointed with our dinners last night. The salmon was overly salty and the steak frites were just ok. I think it will be a bit before we dine at Vintage again. It’s possible they were overwhelmed due to the new normal of outdoor dining, but had expected much more in terms of attentive service and quality of food and drink. The pitcher of sangria was not worth the $40 price point and nor were our dinners. I sure hope they get the kinks out!! We really love Vintage!
It was a really nice restaurant to eat at for a birthday dinner!
Delicious food, great wine selection, and exceptional service! I will definitely be back!
Food is delicious.
Way too noisy, hard to hear my companion at the same table. Understand that it is hard to do anything about this problem but it does not make for a pleasant dining experience
Amazing service. Phenomenal wines. They know so much about each of their wines! What a great spot!
Great food, excellent atmosphere
It was crowded for Valentine’s as expected. Our drinks were perfect. Appetizers and salad were delicious. Main course tasted fantastic although it was served luke warm. But overall a great experience and will go back again!
Yuck. Awful experience from start to finish. Felt personally snubbed by our waiter. Menu is one page, drinks are 9 pages, which is fine, just be aware. Had to ask for the specials menu. It was Valentine's Day. I sent my entree back because it was inedible. I then asked for something else. The waiter suggested the most expensive thing on the menu. I ordered the soup. Again, it was inedible. I just wanted to get out of there and once again the waiter was MIA. I would not recommend.
It was just a little chilly by the window. Enjoyed everything else!
