The two course meal was part of our package during our two night stay at the hotel. The quality and quantity of food was very good. As usual with these types of restaurants the bottle of wine was quite expensive at £18.50. We would have eaten here the second night but the normal menu averaged £18 for a main course so we decided to eat elsewhere. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Wow. Fantastic value for money. Wonderful quality and range to choose from. Was very loud sadly and if we could make any request it would be that as we were two diners , for us to have been asked whether we would like to sit adjacent to a large group with children or not . But that is A very minor point and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Spent a couple of nights at the Village Hotel. Took advantage of the Thursday 2 courses for £29 for two including a glass of Prosecco. The restaurant initially was very quiet, resulting in very good service. Choice of meals on the set menu was good. All our items were well prepared and presented and vet tasty especially Korean tacos. The young servers were friendly and attentive. The meal and bottle of wine was £50 good value for a hotel. My mother, daughter and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at Restaurant On The Rock. The staff were charming and helpful and the food very good. In fact the food was excellent, but my mother found the roast beef cut so thickly so she was unable to cut or eat it - the only downside to a great meal. My daughter was allowed to play the grand piano which was a real treat for her grandmother and, hopefully, the other diners! We will definitely return when next in the area. MoreOpenTable Diner -

We have been going to Paysanne for twenty years, when visiting North Wales. It has developed in many ways but is still run by the same family and has always given us a delightful night out. It is very special to us, different from any other restaurant, and we recommend it unreservedly. MoreOpenTable Diner -
