Waters Restaurant at Resorts World
Waters'menus have been created with simplicity in mind; classic British and French dishes with a twist, expertly cooked and beautifully presented. Independent and family-run, Waters restaurant is a stylish, comfortable and friendly place to enjoy lunch, dinner and pre-concert dining.
Saturday : 2:30pm -10pm
Sunday: 12noon - 9pm
We chose the gormet menu as a treat which was well presented and tasted nice, but I wasn't blown away by brilliance. There seemed to be a few people out having business meals and the position of our table meant I could hear every word. I would definitely go back but request to be "out of the way" although there isnt much choice as the room is small. Cocktails were excellent all though we only sampled 2.
Amazing service, extra touches with bread and tasters. Exceptional food, highly recommend
I am a frequent visitor to Andy Waters - the food is always outstanding and until my visit this week I would have said the same for service, however there was an abrupt passing of the bill following a substantial wait. That being said it is the only time I have had to give anything that remotely resembles negative feedback.
It's such a delight to eat outstanding food in a clean, comfortable environment with excellent customer service, at a reasonable fair price.
Fantastic as always, first time we have done Sunday lunch
Food and service superb
The food and service was outstanding all round. The ambience was excellent too. Can not fault the occasion.
Service was very rushed. Felt like we were on a conveyor belt. Sat very close to next table making privacy difficult. Food was good apart from the amount of salt added to several dishes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. It’s a gem in a plastic metropolis. The food, the ambience, staff and service is up there with many Michelin starred restaurants.
This is definitely in my top ten all time list.
Very good food in plesant surounding good friendly staff - most enjoyable
Lovely meal after day at NEC
Great service, lovely food, beautifully presented
A great find on a busy centre full of the usual high street names
We had a lovely meal, the staff were attentive but not overly so, we will certainly be back
Lovely restaurant and food for a special occasion, it was my Sons birthday meal and he was very impressed.
Fantastic service, with polite, well mannered and presentable staff.
Delicious food served on time and very decent value considering the same amount for the premier inn the day before, for far better taste, amount and quality exceeds the league the other food is in. When we return to Birmingham we will be definitely returning to this restaurant! Thanks very much for the help of our luggage and no quibble of our guide dogs (over the weekend we had such difficulty, so it was fabulous to finally have nobody question them!)
1st time at Waters and won’t be the last. Decor is lovely and relaxing. Service was fantastic and all 4 courses were devine. There with a friend and all her dishes were excellent too. Great find for me and will be visiting again!
Unfortunately not as advertised
Music should have been live at venue but was non existent
I tried their early bird menu - it was the best value for money
food was seasoned in a delicate manner - beautiful presentation with colours and edible flowers. Top class food -good for special occations business meal or some nice treat. for value for money I would give 5 star. it is a small venue but because of it diners are well looked after- very pleasant eating experience
We have visited Andy Water 5 or 6 times over the last 2 - 3 years for business meals whilst attending exhibitions at the NEC, the food has always been of the best quality, the service is impeccable, the staff are very friendly & helpful.
I would not hesitate in recommending the restaurant.
This is just a wonderful restaurant offering all you would wish for. Good atmosphere, excellent food & wine top off with outstanding service.
Great place, highly recommended, super staff and great wine list
I went here with my fiance for his birthday and oh my, we were blown away. The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody.. I will 100% be returning here!
Excellent food. Will be back when it moves upstairs to the new space.
Everything was perfect. Food delicious. Service excellent. Atmospheres relaxing
2nd visit. Can’t fault it. Impeccable. Never want to eat anywhere else. Would never get bored
Andy Waters keep up their high standards.
Whenever we go to resortworld we always book and have never been disappointed
We like going there for special occasions like our anniversary
An excellent meal and dining experience shared with our friends. The menu had so many choices all so appealing and we all really enjoyed the choices we made. The service was very professional but also warm and the restaurant had a great atmosphere - perfect for catching up with friends. We particularly noted that it was nice that tables were not on top of one another, there was plenty of space, especially on the booth/bench seating so we were unaware of neighbouring diners conversation. Excellent value for money for the quality of food. We will definitely be back soon.
Fairly average meal. Wine was not very nice and had a lot of sediment in it. Not what I’d expect for £28 a bottle. Waiters were quite aloof. Think it’s a nerve when a £9 service charge is added to the bill. I told them to remove it as it’s my choice if or not to tip.
Fantastic food, service and ambience. Amazing treat for a special occasion and well worth the trip!
Really good meal, suitable choice, good wine, timing of service was ideal - never seemed rushed. Starters and mains were really good. Deserts were excellent.
Andy Waters restaurant is a hidden gem at Resorts World. This is the second time I have been there, and both times the food and service has been equally fantastic.
From the free, quirky and delicious mini bread rolls with butter and amuse bouche, to the mains and deserts, the food is amazing.
Nicely decorated, quite quiet and relaxing and ideal for a romantic evening or special occasion. I can't find anything to fault with it.
The prices are not cheap however you are paying for quality here that you can see, feel and taste! That said, I chose my meal from the 3 course for £22 early menu, and have to say I would have happily have paid £50+ for the quality of the food, which was 5 courses if you count the 2 free items that were compliments of the chef.
Try it, you won't be disappointed!
Food is amazing, been here many times and the food never disappoints, service and attention to detail and your experience is second to none. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and a great price with excellent service. You need to book as very busy which is not surprising !
We had a lovely meal at Waters Restaurant to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We opted for the gourmet menu which was excellent value. All of the food was beautifully cooked and presented nicely. My only criticism is that the main course was meat and meat with a small quenelle of spinach. ( Wagyu beef with slow cooked Ox cheek’ . A little more vegetable accompaniment would have been nice. Not a whole portion of vegetable but just a little something.
It was nice to see a wine list that had all the ‘popular choices’ and a very reasonable price.
We will definitely return.
One of the nicest meals I’ve enjoyed in a long time, made more enjoyable after a very long day exhibiting at the neighbouring NEC. There’s no music in the restaurant which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere which is relaxed and doesn’t require diners to shout. The booths areas are lovely, plenty of space at the table and very comfortable and the staff are attentive, knowledgeable about the dishes served and friendly and polite. The food was absolutely outstanding. Completely delicious, there’s not a single thing I didnt enjoy - I had the lemon sole and the peanut parfait dessert which was quite frankly the most delicious sweet I’ve ever had! Reasonably priced for top quality food and surroundings.
Good food, beautifully presented & cooked perfectly. Quick and comfortable service with extra tasting dishes while you wait. Early diner very well priced.
Both Early diner & al la carte set menus have a small selection of dishes (e.g. 1 x meat, 1 x fish, 1 x vegetarian for the mains on early diner) but I still find that I'm spoiled for choice. I have several business meals here and every time all of us have thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
The menus are varied & tasty. We've usually ordered 1 extra vegetable selection to share over & above the mains. Have not yet managed to eat the desserts (too full by then!).
Don't come here if you like junk or over-cooked food :)
Really accommodated special assistance we required- fantastic service
Went for my partners birthday wasn’t sure what to expect the whole experience was amazing definitely go back...really good value for money
Super food, good service, particularly the bar steward, food nice and hot, well presented in pleasant surroundings. Well worth a visit but book well in advance!
The food was excellent and the staff fantastic. We had such a lovely relaxing night.
Excellent food and service an the also had a magician going from table to table after people had finished there dinner who was amazing.
A very pleasant evening to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Fab food and service and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return.
