Wildfire Steakhouse Oshawa
In addition to our perfectly grilled steaks that are seasoned with our own house blended spices, we offer a wide range of appetizers, entrées and desserts to please any palate.
My husband had the salmond and I had the squash ravioli and our food was excellent and delicious. Our appetizers were equally tasty. I enjoyed the drinks I ordered, but the glass were half full and I did not think I was getting my money worth there. My husband ordered a caesar and he felt it was too weak. I think that if the drink were tweaked a little, it would have been a five star outing for us since we really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Very warm and beautiful.
We were given a gift certificate for this place. Based on the prices and quality of the food, we were quite disappointed. The food was very bland and tasteless. I had the Pickeral, which portion wise, was very small; overcooked and dry. My partner had a filet mignon, which had no flavor. The place was very noisy ( difficult to hear a conversation ) like a sports bar. The service was good. For $175 for two we will not be a going back. Sorry.
Every time I reserve at Wildfire I ask for Lindsay.
She is excellent at her job and her personality is wonderful.
My friends are always impressed with her as well.
My friend mentioned to me on Saturday night that from now on she also will ask for Lindsay.
Hopefully this brings more customers to your restaurant.
Great job Girlfriend..
Wonderful wait staff and excellent meal. I will be recommending to all my friends and family!!
Great option, intimate setting and wonderful steaks. Also tried the four cheese dip which was heavy on the garlic but still good.
Anniversary dinner at Wildfire- they make you feel welcome, even holding the door on your way in. Excellent food- steak, lobster tail, garlic mash and vegetable. Delicious appetizers of calamari and escargot. We were impressed. Thank you.
Just ‘discovered’ Wildfire. Second visit and was a delightful experience. Food was excellent and my Thursday lunch with my friend was great. Our server Meaghan was so pleasant and friendly. Am looking forward to my next visit.
Awesome service! Friendly staff and quick to get our food. Not to mention amazing food
Was there with my Moms for her birthday. Our dinner came in about 10 mins after offered it , which seemed quick I thought. My potatoes were cold and so was the vegetables. I told waitresses which was very apologetic and took it back to the kitchen. The manager I think, brought my dinner back and now steak is of course sooo cold and rest was steaming hot:( which was also also apologized wanted make sure I was happy with meal.
My 1st tine I was there, hands down amazing so maybe there was different chef which shouldn’t matter...not sure. I have no problem paying for good food but that day wasn’t worth it at all.
First time there after they closed the Yonge St. Location. Much brighter and has a more casual feel.
Good food good service! Who could ask for anything more!
We have been to the North York location previously and wanted to try this. We were impressed with the service and enjoyed the special that was offered at the time. I would recommend Wildfire.
So much better than the keg
For sure we will be back
The Rib Eye Steak Special was done to perfection except that we find it a bit salty for our taste buds. Maybe go easy on the salt so Customers can just easily add it to their liking if need be. Otherwise my husband and I were both pleased with our food.
Food was awesome and there was a special on the rib steak and it was perfectly cooked to our liking, will be back for sure. The garlic mashed were good but i've tasted better the rest was excellent.
Ribeye steaks were excellent and cooked exactly to order. The blue cheese crusted steak was a little blue cheese heavy. Shredded carrots seemed an odd side selection. Escargots apps came quickly and had an uneven heat to them. They had a pre-prepared re-heated taste. We arrived at 6:00 and were through at 6:50, a little rushed to enjoy the dining experience fully. All in all still pleased but this isn’t fine dining.
Great service and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!!! I’ll be back very soon 😁
This is our go to spot in Oshawa and we have never been disappointed. The management and staff are always courteous and efficient. Our food this evening was ribs and I had two appetizers being scallops and shrimp which were very good. Always a pleasure to visit and look forward to our next dinner being our 40th wedding anniversary dinner
Food was perfect. Steak cooked exactly as ordered. Great, friendly service. Not one complaint. Kudos!
Beautiful atmosphere, excellent food......
Never going to Keg again......
We were very disappointed in our visit to this restaurant. When making the reservation, we had indicated that we were celebrating a birthday. However, upon arrival at restaurant, there was no acknowledgement of this; nor was there an opportunity to engage with the wait staff to offer this information up. Our food was okay, although steak not cooked to specification and vegetables were undercooked. We ordered cocktails before dinner, and no one ever came back to ask us if we would like to order anything else - which we had wanted to do (wine with dinner would have been great!). We were back home within the hour of being seated at the restaurant, and that included an appetizer and 10 minute drive home. $200 later we were extremely disappointed and unhappy and won't be returning.
The food was only ok, my wife and I had filet mignon and they forgot to wrap mine in bacon. When it was brought back out the bacon was merely placed around the steak, it tasted ok and was cooked to medium rare as requested. My wife’s dinner was very disappointing, the roasted potatoes were a little dry and bland. Her steak was very odd, she requested medium and when she cut into it, it appeared blue and uncooked but it was not bloody and when held up to the light the colour was grey. The texture was as if it was almost raw and she couldnt eat the center of it. We also had garlic bread, 1 dessert and a $7 side of peppercorn sauce, no alcohol and the bill was $140. I’ll stick with The Keg and I’ll even save money too.
The apps were great and service fast! Really enjoyed the experience!
Wonderful meal, service, atmosphere and cleanliness! Nothing negative to report.!
We love this restaurant and recommend it to all of our friends.
Service was excellent. Steak needed to be sent back as it was very undercooked....order medium-rare and it initially came out Blue (raw).
When my hubby and I want a nice dinner with out kids, this is our spot. The dinner's are high quality. The staff are friendly. I highly recommend Wildfire
Our go to spot locally. Enjoyed the service along with great ribs and burger tonight
The steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend, we will be back!
I did not rate it 5 star throughout just to fulfill a rating. This restaurant truly deserves the score. The food was delicious, the waitress was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and the patio was perfect hideaway from everyday life!! We have already recommended this restaurant to a lot of our friends-many who have seen the place and wondered about it. They now know to go!!
Great food and service ... one of my favourite places in Durham
I love Wildfire!! I will always go when I’m in the mood for some good food and good steak! Wine is great too!
Our 1st visit FIVE star, 2nd visit, TWO star. My meal was great. Hubby's steak tough and overdone. Got a replacement meal, was better but we therefore didn't eat our meals together. No rolls to start, no ice in water. Servers and bus boys didn't look happy. We told everyone after our first visit, that wildfire would be our go to place. Not so much now !! For the price, we would expect better overall. Oh and one other thing, I had a $20 birthday credit but couldn't use it with their specials menu. Had to order off regular menu.
Loved the restaurant itself, the staff and the ambiance. But the steak I ordered had WAY too much steak spice on it and the lobster tail I added to my entrée had steak spices on it too. Who the heck puts steak spice on a lobster tail? It took away from the natural flavour of the lobster, which is what I love. Was very underwhelmed and will likely not return.
So my wife and I decided to check out Wildfire... the service was stellar, the environment was excellent... unfortunately the food was bland and under cooked. My wife had a steak and it was flavorless... myself had the lamb rack and I asked for it to me medium-rare... it came out rare and borderline blue. Cant see myself recommending or returning... not for 120.00 meal that was less desirable.
We enjoyed a terrific summerfest menu for lunch, with really great service.
As a past employee of The Keg, it was our usual spot for a great steak and a special occasion... but since it’s still under renovations, we decided to try Wildfire and we were not disappointed. We went out to celebrate as we just got married a week ago. The food was fresh and amazing. I had the Striploin and my husband had the Haddock. We loved the fresh vegetable sides and the garlic shrimp! Alejandro (hope I spelled that right!) provided amazing service. He was always available to fill our water glasses or close if we needed anything. Thank you for a great evening!
Enjoyed everything. Great place to recommend to our friends. Will be back. Thank you.
