Yauatcha City (Bar)
Yauatcha City is an all-day dim sum teahouse, where friends and family gather to catch up over a wide selection of dim sum, wok dishes, tea and cocktails. To complement the cuisine, the drinks menu comprises nearly 40 types of tea, as well as cocktails inspired by Chinese ingredients and a broad wine and Champagne list.
Yauatcha’s first standalone patisserie, Yauatcha Patisserie, is located just below the restaurant, where Chinese heritage and modern European cooking techniques have inspired the pastry team to create a range of unique macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates.
I will definitely be back - not the cheapest but the service and the care they take with the food and your requests is definitely worth it and I intend returning AND bringing more people. The service was impeccable.
Had some amazing food, lovely cocktails and a good catch up with my friend. Great night!
Consistently good dim sum. One of my favourite places to eat. Love the soft shelled crab and venison puffs!
Very good food! Its our three time here, one time in Soho.
Negative is only small tables, you sit very close to another couple.
Been to this place a few times and every time it has been a great experience.
The staff are very friendly and attentive.
The food taste amazing and the cocktails they have are to die for.
I would continuously go here.
Keep up the fantastic service that you always provide. !
Great venue good food , a shame about the card machines going down. Meant I was over 30 minutes late to work !
Poor service and food not that nice. The waiter ignored me and chatted with his colleagues. He even failed to bring me a spoon for ice cream but letting me use chopsticks to eat ice cream! Unbelievable!
Love at first and repeated sight. Have been alternating visits to Yauatcha Soho and Yauatcha City and both remain my favorite restaurants. though for some reason, Yauatcha City prices have risen, unlike in its Soho sister branch. Nevertheless, the food is still as delicious as ever. Extremely appreciated is also the fact that staff is always extremely attentive and friendly regardless of how much you order. Great for a treat to yourself, a get-together with friends, a Sunday brunch, a special occasion, business lunch. Good for foodies. Less for quiet, intimate conversations, but great to celebrate life and love of extremely good food.
This is an upmarket Asian restaurant of the highest international standards and as such was very expensive: but it was worth it. The delicacy and subtlety of the dishes we chose could not be faulted. The service was friendly, efficient and highly professional. The ambiance of the dining room is congenial to business and social occasions: conversation can be maintained at a normal volume. Highly recommended.
Great as usual, food is superb the service excellent and ratio quality price outstanding.
One of my best places in London, will go again and again
Fantastic food and service!
been to Yauatcha a few times... love the food... not cheap but beautifully prepared and never dull. the afternoon tasting menu is a great deal
We were moved to the main restaurant and taken good care of. We had the fixed Saturday lunchtime menu which was fabulous. Great food and good value.
Pleasan surroundings and friendly helpful staff.
The food here is consistently good and imaginative.
A great place for business lucn.
Service was not as good as at lunchtimes and the crowd was very loud and rowdy on a Friday so not for quiet dining but food amazing as always!
The food was not great for the price. Not worried about spending a little more, infact expected it due to previous experience, the food this time was not good so it's not value for money..service good and so is the decor
Sensational Saturday is, by far, the best value in London!
Great.m food. Great location
Would always go back
two very little low points: 1. wine list could be less overpriced 2. they wanted three times to deliver orders we didn't make
Really fun dining experience. Great array of cocktails and dim sum with fascinating flavours and dishes. The dessert counter where you can buy macaroons etc is too tempting!
Dim sum is delicious but the portion is not very big, so it is suitable for ladies who like to treat themselves
Popped in for a quick business lunch and both my guest and I were blown away. Great friendly service and due to our time constraints we asked for the food to be brought to the table quickly. We were in and out within 45 minutes however very happy with our experience. They even moved to us to the restaurant from the Bar as there was a table free. Will definitely be going again both for Business and more social occasions.
Lovely fresh food and flavours. I had a selection of dumplings and was very impressed. Some new creative combinations which is fantastic if you love dumplings! Reasonably priced, tables are quite close together but there is an outdoor area too. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Looking forward to going back for more steamed dumplings!
Nice atmosphere, good variety of food, perfect to share. Service was strong.
😋 food was great
Had the set tasting menu - pretty good value, a cocktail and dim sum for £25. The macaroons for dessert were amazing! Looking forward to going back and ordering from the a la carte menu!
The entrance was hard to locate but service and food were fantastic. Highly recommended for an informal business lunch setting.
the 9 course meal is a bit of a scam . as its very little food and not that good value.
the deal is good and environment is good. Nothing special about the food. If not because of the deal, we may probably not try that restaurant.
I rarely write reviews however I felt this one was much deserved. Everything was perfect from great staff who were all too willing to help and very friendly to fab cocktails, the food was delicious with desserts to die for.
The prawn and beancurd cheung fun and the venison puff are a must! Very delicious.
Very friendly and attentive staff, elegant setting, Yauatcha Soho regulars will immediately recognize all their favorites. Dim Sums were slightly smaller than at Soho sister restaurant. no special treatment for birthday girl but nevertheless, overall, very pleasant evening.
Several times in this restaurant, conveniently located in the city for business lunch. Service is good and food is delicious. Service is fast, lunch under 1 hour possible.
Great value for money on the the tasting menu
Food was good as usual by Yauatcha's standard! The place is nicely renovated haven't been back since it was a C& B bar. Got a table by the window and really pleased with that. The waitress made a mistake with our orders but they took the wrong item off the bill and brought us the right one. The waitress/hostess in white (they do have a lot of wait staff in different uniforms) was a little rude or maybe just straight face so we felt a little uncomfortable about mentioning about the wrong order. She could be a little more friendly if she is the facing off the customers! Had a beautiful white wine too! Got our bill and realised our bill was wrong as they had put another dish on my bill .. they were polite and apologetic about it. Two wrong orders for the same table for a not very busy night!
Overall great experience and will definitely go back again and hopefully get a happier waitress.
Incredible service, the venue is simple and a bit small in my opinion. Tasty food there. I gave overall experience 5 stars. Only one small little thing though (which i will choose to ignore ) i walked to the toilet and one waitress gave me a dirty look on me. I'm not sure what was her problem with me. I smiled at her but it was not only she didnt smile back but gave me an attitude face. She got a red lipstick on. I think she was the only waitress who has a bright red lipstick on. Other than that, everything was great! :)
Chocolate dessert was amazing!! Service very attentive.
Tasty dim sum for lunch. The bar seats were great as have a decent view over Broadgate Circle and as the weather was warm, the staff opened the doors, so we were able to dine al fresco.
i booked a table for one on the 10/6. It was done very effortlessly on Open Table's app. I arrived at Liverpool Street Station at 3pm on a train from Norwich. Called Yauacha for directions to their restaurant and made my way there painlessly. The exterior and the interior of the restaurant was very uinque. Nothing like a typical chinese dim sum place at all. The music and overall ambience was very modern and catchy. Service was very good and unobtrusive. The food was also very good and menu range was impressive. The only thing that shocked me was the price. It was out of this world. I've never seen such prices for dim sum anywhere in the world! But then, this was no ordinary dim sum place. It was indeed a cut above any dim sum place I've seen. Hence, I will still come again if I can afford it. Otherwise, it was a great place for any meal, dim sum or otherwise. Will definitely recommend to friends but will also warn them to be prepared to pay! You can find many items on the menu that is not found anywhere else.
The service was friendly and advice was on hand concerning the menu . We were moved from the bar to a window seat in the restaurant which was great. The food was amazing
