Yauatcha City is an all-day dim sum teahouse, where friends and family gather to catch up over a wide selection of dim sum, wok dishes, tea and cocktails. To complement the cuisine, the drinks menu comprises nearly 40 types of tea, as well as cocktails inspired by Chinese ingredients and a broad wine and Champagne list.
Yauatcha’s first standalone patisserie, Yauatcha Patisserie, is located just below the restaurant, where Chinese heritage and modern European cooking techniques have inspired the pastry team to create a range of unique macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates.

Best Cheung Fun and best Sweet and Sour pork I have ever tasted. Great dim sum too.
Very attentive service and great ambience on the terrace. Nothing was too much trouble.
Food wasn’t hot when served. Some of it was sent back.
Dreadful service as always. I come there since 5 years and they still didn’t notice that. You order a bottle of sake, they forget to serve it to you. Why exactly did you pay 50 for a bottle? After you finish food they say, oh, you still have half a bottle. Food comes slowly for group of 4. The manager comes every time to apologize and push some sweets on you even after you said explicitly you don’t want it. They just badly don’t want to take anything off the bill given how bad the service is they would need to give up half or their revenue.
Last time they gave me a wrong bill three times
The time before they served main course in different time and said it’s because they have two kitchens as it was something we cared for.
I brought so many new clients there. It this must stop, I don’t feel like being ashamed of places I invite people to.
The service is really nice and polite, they are very attentive. However, I found it overprice for what it is. We tried the selection of dumplings, which were average. My favorite dish was probably the half fried crab but even that I found overpriced. The restaurant itself is in the middle of a square surrounded by offices so it's also not a nice locations, a very cold atmosphere. The only good think was the service.
I have been going to Yauatcha for years now. From the days where they only had one restaurant in Soho.
I have noticed over the years that the service in this restaurant has gone downhill. This is before Covid-19, it has been a slow but noticeable decline in the quality of service.
The food is good, I will keep going, but more as a casual meal out than a quality experience.
It’s absolutely as good as it always was! Food and service is excellent
Tables were spaced apart and when customers left there was a thorough clean
The down side was it seems they have really inflated their prices! We noticed such a difference and only one of us had a glass of alcohol!
Great evening out... everything spot on!
Good food, great service nice to be back in the restaurant but it remains incredibly overpriced.
Very good ... price has gone up ... and you also need to pay the the congestion charge ....
Ottima cena, con tavolo in terrazza migliore ristorante cinese di Londra
Amazing service and food. Very good detail as restaurant gabe us some complimentary macarons for our anniversary
Tried a £40 set menu which was a little bit of everything. If you do that in a group you can each have your own main and try even more. Food was excellent. We will return.
This is the third time I’ve had the weekend yum cha and it was excellent as always. The food is delicious and the staff are always very attentive. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Good food and ok service. Had to keep asking for our wine glasses to be topped up. Very overpriced wine list. I normally pay £17.50 for a bottle for 2018 Chardonnay Meerlust Stellenbosch. They are charging an outrageous £64! Also the restaurant is so huge there is little atmosphere, and the toilets are at the far end, so put on comfy walking shoes for the trek.
Tasty. Good food. Good drinks. Pricey but I knew that going into it.
We had a wonderful meal!
We took advantage of the weekend lunch deal - it was excellent value as we had plenty of food and drinks! Staff were very polite and attentive.
Would recommend this restaurant highly!
Excellent food and service, good value for money.
Always a pleasure going back to Yauatcha for dinner. The vibe, menu and experience is always impeccable.
Great food, nice ambiance. Good offer. Wine list quite expensive.
Overpriced, bad service, mediocre food, pretentious ambiance. Not recommended.
Booked ahead, shown up 20 mins early to drink at the bar beforehand. Sat down and told our table is no longer available and there's nothing they can do. Not even an apology. Then asked why were sat at the bar when we have a table by a different staff member, very confusing and embarrassing. Great food but very unorganised, ruined our birthday celebration tbh.
Excellent Chinese food with outstanding service.
The ambience and service was amazing. They were very attentive and accommodating. The food was well presented and delicious.
Delicious food and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
We went on a business outing as most people seemed to be - around us animated conversations about doing deals were a bit overpowering and we were glad to have the late lunch as then people left and we were able to talk at a normal level of decibels.
The set lunch was fantastic and as were were in a foursome we could share all the main courses and try four of their desserts. We all particularly liked any of the items with mushroom in the dim sum, especially the fried one. There was unanimity on the chicken for the main course although it was really hard to choose as we liked them all. The chocolate dessert was wonderful but voted as a little heavy and we were glad to only eat one corner.
We are usually hard to please with a couple of foodies among us but we all voted it a definite find although we will always choose the later booking for lunch.
The receptionist upstairs needs more training on how to greet clients. Such a shame to have this weak link in what was a great service team
Everything was great
We arrived at the restaurant 9 minutes late and they had already give our table away (there is a 15 minute grace period). We were asked to wait at the bar until a table was ready, which was almost 30 minutes later. No apologies given.
Amazing food and service!
This was a level above the usual dim sum places I visit such as Royal China.
The Prawn Cheng Feung with bean curd is a particular highlight.
A fairly big order for 3 people with no alcohol came to around £90 so it was also good value for money. Highly recommended for dim sum lovers.
It was our Anniversary.
The food was exceptional - both in presentation and taste. Additionally, the food arrived after ordering fairly quickly (my group attended on a Thursday evening), and the staff were professional and polite throughout. I'm personally especially pleased as I picked out the venue for our group to attend, and I got a big thumbs up from everyone :)
There was a few comments from my group about the pricing, but I'm sure to pay for the location that the restaurant is based in, I thought the prices were very reasonable.
Requested a bigger and quite table when they have one, But no one is accepting our request.
Having had this recommended by one of our clients we were very impressed
with the standard and variety of the food.
However compared to Sushisamba, Ivy Asia and Matsuri we thought that this
was expensive and the price of the wine was extortionate.
We enjoyed the ambience and surroundings albeit the waiting staff could do
with refresher courses.
Good, well presented food comes with a friendly service staff. It is by far the best dim sum I have tried in London.
We didn’t get seated and was literally a waste of time
Food was good and service efficient.
Dinner was absolutely wonderful. Delicious food, excellent service, no complaints whatsoever. Cannot wait to return.
