Yauatcha City is an all-day dim sum teahouse, where friends and family gather to catch up over a wide selection of dim sum, wok dishes, tea and cocktails. To complement the cuisine, the drinks menu comprises nearly 40 types of tea, as well as cocktails inspired by Chinese ingredients and a broad wine and Champagne list.
Yauatcha’s first standalone patisserie, Yauatcha Patisserie, is located just below the restaurant, where Chinese heritage and modern European cooking techniques have inspired the pastry team to create a range of unique macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates.

Great food and nice decor. Prefer the lighting here than in Yauatcha Soho.
Simply one of my favourite restaurants in London !
Very nice food, good service but the price is consequent. Very noisy.
Firm favourite for family birthdays. Great food and lively atmosphere.
Hi. Your service is exellent and I liked the two kinds of dim sum very much.
I've expected the traditional Mont Blanc so I was a bit dissapointed.
The totall experience was good and I'll definitely recommend my friends.
Friendly staff and lots of them but not enough to top up our wine which was a short walk away in an ice bucket. The food didn't live up to expectations, the dim sum not as good as we expected for the high price. Price per head came to just under £50 for 5 dim sum, 1 main course, 1 btl of wine and 1 soft cocktail. Best to go to the Shard if you are looking for a oriental dining experience.
Amazing Chinese cuisine....the signature prawns wrapped in beancurd is a must try....a little pricey but prolly the best Chinese you will ever taste
It was my second time at Yauatcha City and it's absolutely fantastic. It was a special evening for me and my guest and the staff really did their best to make the evening special for us, thank you!
Everything on the menu is delicious, especially the dim sum (their signature cheung fun is another level), the chicken with cashews and their signature noodle dish.
Very quiet for being a Saturday evening.
Overall, very good experience.
Loved cocktails, dim sums. Not impressed with pork with mushrooms and truffles as pork belly was way too fatty..
Was a bit worried of previously reported lound music, but I have an impression they've reduced the volume:) Looking forward to my next visit!
Enjoying the Saturday brunch menu which was incredible value! Will be back again :)
Lovely place with amazing service.
Lovely as usual. Food always fantastic. Service also great. Highly recommended
Always a pleasure, food was delicious and a fantastic birthday lunch
Half the menu was not available.
Great food and service but the noise level was too high
Lovely service (smooth up selling!), food was great but expensive food & wine options- good for a special occasion
lovely - unless you're ravenous you probably don't need to go for the tasting menu. For 2 people, 3 dim sum and 2 shared main courses plus dessert was more than enough to satisfy - would also recommend the tea menu
There are several reasons to recommen Yauatcha City, fits and foremost the food is top qualily and full of flavours, secondly the location is imoressive rising above Broadgate Circle and finally the atmosphere is buzzing. My only criticism on this occasion is that our last dish came very late after we had demolished the first 5 dishes. I know there is no sequence to the arrival of dishes but you'd think there would not be such a wide gap between the penultimate and ultimate dish. Something to work on.
As usual great food and Service what you would expect coming to Yauatcha. We had a great table and really enjoyed the evening.
Venison puff amazing as usual. Dessert delicious
The service at Yauatcha was great! Came here for my partners birthday and all the staff made it very special. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to celebrate something special or looking for great dimsum in London.
In my experience, excellent Chinese food is hard to find but Yauatcha is one of rare exceptions. I've been a couple of times now, admittedly for just the City lunch menu but on both occasions the food has been simple and devastatingly effective. Probably just as it should be. The dim sum were very hearty for small bites and suitably enjoyable. Beef in black bean sauce where the beef doesn't have the consistency of prawns is far rarer than it should be, but fortunately it was cooked perfectly. Similarly the chicken was well cooked, sumptuous and delightful. Macaroons made for a conducive end to the meal, given the time of day. The service was flawless and the location always a pleasure. See you soon and thanks.
Excellent food but unfortunately we have been served by a waiter so rude, unpolite and not professional that I couldn’t believe it
At the end I refrained from telling of this experience with a restaurant manager because I did not want to spoil my evening.
I was surprised also to find the 13%tip included in my bill without even being previously asked if everything was fine.
I've been a regular client to Yauatcha since a few years. Today they disappointed me very much. They served the main course in different time. This can happen, but when we complained, they said that it's because they have two kitchens. Why would we care? Then they asked if we want a dessert which we didn't. We got some cookies as an apology anyway. They should have taken something off the bill but they badly wanted to avoid that. I though that regular customers mean more to them. Still 3 stars for the other times when they did ok.
Excellent food as usual! Had my usual favourite... soft shell crab, cheung fan with tofu skin, crispy duck salad, scallop siu mai... all very delicious
Exceptional food as usual, good customer service despite busy night.
Tables too close to each other, loud ambient makes it impossible to have a nice conversation.
This hampers the experience which is below expectation for a place of this standard.
Delicious food and the waiter was so attentive and did a great job explaining everything to us. He also gave us free Macarons for my birthday :)
Great service, nice decor, delicious food, but too noisy!
Super super super amazing! My friends and I love all the dishes.
Iv visited this restaurant a number of times, no matter day or evening the service and food has been lovely, always a clean plate. But a word of warning it’s all so good you could easily overeat.enjoy
I had fun here; it’s a lively restaurant with a dynamic vibe. As a hick from the sticks, it felt very ‘London’ to me. Great wait staff, impressively multicultural and all knowing the menu fully and able to give appropriate advice. They were friendly and engaged, and really made the experience positive. The food was good - nicely made, good value for money (in the context of the venue/city), enjoyable. I’d certainly eat here again.
Been ill ever since eating here
Would not recommend to anyone
Ordered 2 starters 3 arrived
Ordered a rice with noodles
Rice never arrived
Asked for a white wine and lemonade
White wine and soda water came
£80 for a lot of rubbish
Great food and experience for my boyfriends birthday! Cocktails were amazing!
The yauatcha in City seems to be just ever so clumsy compared to the branch in soho
continues to offer and maintain high standard of food and service. it gets really busy at lunchtime but that's inevitable with this location. However, it would be good to have tables just ever so slightly further apart so it does not feel like you are sharing everything with people on then table next to you.
We had the £60 tasing menu which was a mess. Some of the individual dishes were tasty but the overall experience was not fine dining in any way.
Different parts arrived at different times and there was no explanation to each dish. No explanation on how to each dish or with what. Very disappointing..
I would expect a lot more from a £200 meal. Yauatcha really needs to step up it's game!
To top it off - the chilli squid tasted of cake..
It's a perfect Chinese restaurant, good environment and smile service. Overall, the food is delicious and beautiful. LIKE IT
Michelin star priced food where quality of food was average at best. Simply couldn't justify the price of this food. Felt like the food was all very quickly pre-prepared and could have been microwaved! It completely missed the essence of an authentic dim sum restaurant. We were also denied the ability to change a small starter of the same value in our £75 per head set menu. The rationale was that they could only deliver 3 items when the set menu was for 2 items. Surprised they were unable to only cook two items - makes you feel that it is all completely pre-made out of a packet.
Always great to end up in Yauatcha on a Friday afternoon enjoying a late lunch knowing you're done for the day and the sun is shining, top food, top service and top location
Amazing pork and bean curd cheng, lobster and tamago and monkfish cheeks dumplings!
