The design of the restaurant is a modern interpretation of the old Chinese teahouse. At the same time, the lighting and seating embodies the atmosphere of a vibrant ‘chatter shop’, similar to the traditional Hong Kong dim sum restaurants.
The restaurant offers Cantonese dishes with a modern influence, with an extensive range of steamed, baked, grilled and fried dim sum such as Yauatcha’s signature dishes of Scallop shui mai and Venison puffs.

Beautiful food with a reduced menu due to covid but excellent quality. Great cocktails too. We had a great night.
Very good food and great service. Been a couple of times and it just as good each time
Went with 3 friends for my birthday. Loved it so will be back again soon.
As we regular client to Yauctha , we havent got good experince last night!!
We booked a table ( secure the table i used a credit card 50£ for person ). At the end of the night , they did not ask us which credit card we are going pay it. They took directly 200£ from my card.
This card used just fo secure a table , NOT to pay other's diner. ( I see We didn't attend it you have right to take money from this card.
If i book a birthday table 15 people , the company will be charged all diner in my card without asking?
I am going to right a complain letter to Yautcha about it..
Not happy client....
We had a great time. Our servers were great, very polite and attentive without being intrusive. Thanks.
Went to Yauatcha with our two kids, ages 6 and 8 - they loved the pulled noodles and then macarons for dessert. My wife and I are vegan and there were plenty of options. Lovely dumplings to start and great mains.
Would always recommend and love coming here. Great food and lovely service from all staff. We got several plates of the starters this time and the duck to share as a main and we were full by the end. Reasonably priced when you consider these things!
Yautcha came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint.
Food was amazing and we did not feel rushed.
Quality and standard fantastic.
Will definitely be returning and recommending!
Service not great, so loud could hear everyone shouting. Very overpriced for food that was okay but not amazing.
V good overall, waitress was v knowledgeable and helpful.
Appreciate reason my menu is on phone but made ordering much more tricky as so much scrolling needed. Rather frustrating.
Also felt a touch rushed especially with how they were pouring drinks constantly and furiously.
But the food was fab and just what we wanted so no complaints.
Well managed, clean, good atmosphere, friendly staff throughout and yummy food.
Amazing food with great drinks. We sat outside which is why it was quite noisy. It was a great atmosphere though, just less formal.
food was super tasty although it’s pricey! Will definitely be coming often
Really out of words to describe it.
Simply everything was 10/10.
Glad to get outdoor seating on such a warm day, but felt that the service was not as good as when we have previously sat inside - tables were left dirty until we asked they were cleaned between courses, the food itself was lovely and tasty. The new plates are very small for main meal eating..no new cutlery between courses, no serving spoons..but 1 given on request- in covid times we are reluctant to dip our own cutlery into the sharing dish.
Overall a nice evening but we all felt the service could have been more fitting for Yauatcha.
Not what it used to be. The food is still good but the ambience and atmosphere has gone.
Excellent inside, feels very posh but relaxed.
Not comfortable with downloading menu had difficulty connecting etc
Seats really low (sat downstairs)
Communication problem with some of the staff which meant orders not coming and wrong food coming to our table
Food was lovely but maybe a bit pricey but would definitely return, overall experience very good
The food at Yauatcha is excellent for both vegetarian and meat eaters. Went on a Saturday night and it was busy - we were asked to wear masks inside but no social distancing set up between tables. The thing that really let down our experience was the service we received from our waitress. It was abysmal. No friendliness, no smiles, and just generally we were made to feel like we were a nuisance being there. If you're charging 13.5% service charge (yes they've increased it) you expect better service.
We attended for my wife’s birthday. The restaurant tried to rush us bring courses out before we had finished one, but once we asked them to slow the service got better. The atmosphere was far to loud to the point it was hard to hold a conversation .The tables to close together and at one point we had to get the manager to move the table next to us as a guy joined the party next to us and was far to close considering COVID. The food was quite good but we should have been advised better as we ordered3 extra dishes we could not eat.
Very over priced but perfectly nice food. In and out in 50 mins.
Not quite as good as I remembered. I believe this place has a Michelin star? Not quite sure why? The crispy duck roll was very good. Lobster dumpling was fairly good.
Food & drinks were incredible, plenty of food for with the ceremony menu, make sure you are hungry if you order it!
Wow you just got to try this place stunning food and service got rave about the place enough
First time here. Absolutely loved it. Food was amazing. Best dim sum I've ever eaten in my life. Service was outstanding. So attentive. Will definitely be back.
Very nice food, great service. I’ll definitely go back.
Lunch, on a balmy Friday afternoon…
Delightful food, attentive service & lovely atmosphere - al fresco, outside.
Wine was over priced, very annoying having to view the menu on your phone but portion sizes were good.
Fab experience, set menu portions were huge and had to get dessert as take out.
Every dish was delicious and the condiments flavoursome.
Look forward to visiting again soon.
Great dim sum as always. Avoid the Thai chicken salad as it is neither Thai nor a salad. It was a breaded deep-fried chicken breast covered in raw onions! More like a cheap British Chinese take away than the glamorous and mostly authentic Yauatcha that I know abs love.
excellent food and service. but quite pricey. delicious
The service was very bad. With waiters serving rice with fingers within the bowl touching the rice.
And no “thank you”, never smiling.
Over priced dim sum that lacked any ‘wow’. Customer service was lacklustre too
It’s time in the restaurant was highly recommended but didn’t live up to the recommendation
Really enjoyed the food. Good service. Would definitely go again but maybe sit inside especially for a special meal. The outside seating was fine but just bear in mind that there is constant traffic going past (vehicle and human) so if you’re after an intimate setting outside is not the way to go. This wouldn’t stop me going again. I had the stir fry rib eye beef which was out of this world…so beautifully tender and well flavoured and goes well with egg fried rice. Food is so good. My husband had the spicy pork wontons which was well flavoured and nicely spiced.
Friendly service and amazing food
I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday we had a great evening good service and good food! Definitely go again.
The food was mediocre
Great food as always but service was poor
Amazing food and service, with a great atmosphere. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in London. It is quite expensive but definitely worth the money for a special occasion. The music is played quite loud (which i didn’t think it was a bad thing) but if you’re looking for somewhere a bit quieter then it’s probably not for you.
Quite loud and all felt a bit rushed but food was nice and portions decent sizes
