Was able to make a reservation when the restaurant is actually closed. They confirmed the reservation and was not answering any of my calls either. Do not go here

The service of this places is extremely slow, staff kept on getting paged for wrong orders and definitely over priced!
Won’t be revisiting.

Heard great things about this place. The fish tacos were amazing! Owner came to talk to us which I thought was really personable.

If you are someone who is nervous about COVID19 or someone who actually believes in following safety protocols then DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT. The staff here were wearing their masks UNDER their chin. Our server did not wear a mask the entire time. I believe the reason for this was because the DJ was so loud that the guests couldnt hear the servers. The hostess had her mask under her chin and when the server brought our food, she also had no mask on.

When I used to bathroom, there were 3 girls in the bathroom not wearing masks and there was a man in the womens bathroom. Overall, staff here did not follow any of the safety protocols and our entire table felt extremely uncomfortable. I did not eat my food because of how worried I was . There were people dancing at their tables as well

Ontop of that, it took 1 hour to receive our appetizer. When the bill came, the server did not tell us that tip was included so we all ended up putting extra FOR TERRIBLE SERVICE

This place should be inspected. stay far away

Food and service were amazing!!

The music is great. The atmosphere is lively and fun. The staff are friendly but the service is sometimes sloooowwww.
-The drinks are overpriced and weak for me. The food is a no for me ... so far I’ve been going through the menu every visit(great music and fun vibe) I try something new every time and so far have only liked the fish tacos(they were delicious). Still a great place to go dance(after the pandemic) and drink.

The entire staff had their masks around their chin - might as well not wear them, guests were walking around and dancing and singing with no masks on, managers/hosts/servers kept pulling their masks down every time they came to the table, reason was because you couldn’t hear them over the DJ blaring music.. they were over serving a table to a point where a gentleman got up and literally fell face first over a fence into a table because he was wasted, and the DJs reaction was “welcome to yo Amos tacos”. All that aside, the food... I believe a drivethru could produce better tacos that don’t take over 30 minutes to come out cold and soggy.

Did was decent. A little pricy for the portions. We didn’t like the fact that the upstairs dining area was closed and we had to eat in the “basement”
Our service was not great.

We usually love it here but this time they sat us next to the bathroom so unfortunately there was a terrible smell throughout our whole meal. The food was good but the service was slower than usual and the experience was less than ideal.

Very happy that we got seated overlooking the wooded area out back, as it was a beautiful view to enjoy during our gathering.

The service was very good, our table hostess did her best with the people flow considering there was only two{2} servers. She was quick and attentive. The food & bar delays stemmed from the kitchen stations.

Its a small place but does not staff adequately which then leads to consequences such as unnecessary delays with hostess table checks, food delivery delays, server staff stretched thin.

The food itself was simply OK, nothing out of the ball park or stand out.
Was very disappointed tho with size of our appetizers, in particular the calamari which was, well, just SAD. Small portion, over-battered and over-cooked.
Only reason why I didn't bring to our server's attention is because I felt bad she was stretched thin with all the tables she had to serve, but also, the kitchen station service was overloaded, assuming this contributed to the poor output of the calamari appetizer.

The value for portion and authenticity of dishes...again, just MEH!
Perhaps we had too high expectations of this place but even another tables we chatted with seemed disappointed in the level of food expectation and even the portions. It is lively and can noisy to enjoy table conversations with the loud music.

I do give kudos again to our server who was thoughtful to offer to refrigerate our celebration cake for the BDay Lass and offering to snap our pics.
Honestly we all felt bad for the table servers, including neighbouring table mates.
Management should invest in a few more staff on busier days to keep service & food delivery levels up to par. Serious thoughts should also be put in revising the menu and price points. These are more downtown-uptown pricings.

Great food! Really recommend the nachos and tacos never fail to amaze me! Awesome environment, friendly staff and served quickly.

I was disappointed that the background music is barely audible. I asked the waitress to turn it up and it was done for less than a minute then back down to inaudible. I chose the place specifically because I was told that there would be background music during dinner. It was my friend’s 50th and we were excited for the music. I was disappointed.

Everything was amazing, from the service to the food ! The live music on Saturdays is just another exceptional touch to this place ! 10/10, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, it’s a must-try !

Had a great experience, cool view out the patio. The front parking lot is not a reflection of the quality - it gets better as you get further into the restaurant and the food was great! Give it a try.

Waited an hour for food, wasn’t told til was on bill and I added 18% on top of the tip that was already there.

Went to Yo Amo Tacos for my Birthday celebration on Saturday. The wait betweem getting drinks and ordering Apps was long, even longer to actually get food. We had 7:30 reservations and we did not get food until almost 930pm (and that was only one dish) the rest slowly came out. One of the meals was wrong TWICE! We were a party of 11 and were given a party of 10+ menu. I asked to see the regular menu, waitress mentioned that it would take longer to get food off the regular menu. We ALL ordered from the 10+ menu but when we complained how long it was taking she very rudely said "that's what happens when you order off the regular menu" but we all ordered either Burritos, Tacos or Quesadillas. At a Mexican restaurant, that should be quick! I was quickly reminded by my guests that the last time we had gone there, the service and wait time was the same. Food is delicious, so maybe take out will be my choice from now on. No more dining in! Also, it says live entertainment, but we left past 10pm and no live entertainment started. Disappointed!

Lovely meal - food was fantastic and the drinks super tasty!

Filthy place. After touching the sticky menu we had to wash our hands. My family of 6 went to have a nice night out. My daughters enchilada came out with most ingredients missing; it only had chicken, no rice, beans etc. still got charged for it. Waitress took a tip saying its policy for 6 or more. It’s called a TIP for a reason. Taking a tip on your own is stealing. The place was almost empty and we now know why. Stay away from this filthy and thieving restaurant.

Although the tacos were very good, the apps were disappointing. Great look and feel of the restaurant but the service is the slowest I’ve ever experienced dining out. Waiting over half hour for our drinks and food was much longer than that. Seemed to only have two waitresses working the entire place.

Hassle at the door even with reservations booked through open table. Lack of items in stock on menu. Very slow service. Wrongly billed. Food was great and the ambiance was cute, but we definitely wouldn’t go back.

Reservations were made — via open table . Place was pretty much empty except for two tables in use. we got place at the back corner . When asked why here — can we please be moved ? The waitress look at us as if we had 3 heads each . We got up and left ... with out even a suggestion to accommodate us .
It’s unfortunate as I usually defend the place for poor and slow service because the food once you get it is pretty good however,, I will not be doing that anymore .

Having been here before I knew that the food & drink is definitely worth it.
My partner and I got there and was seated promptly (we had reservations). We were celebrating an anniversary- it was not acknowledge; I am sure I made a note when I made the reservation.
No one greeted us at our table for 20 mins. and as a pregnant lady I was running out of patience faster than usual. There were servers serving neighboring tables. We finally went to sit at the bar. Of course the bartender was faster at serving us. I was sadden that we had to sit there because it is not very comfortable seating while pregnant nor as intimate but I was hungry by that time. Our food took long however there were a few large parties that had to be entertained, so it was ok. My partner had a cocktail that was enjoyable. Another cocktail or two would have been ordered had we been asked. The bartender was very nice just swamped.
The food is always great here! so I will go back back however if the service is the same; I will think twice for future events.

Everything was wonderful. We missed the band though because we came for my birthday but we understand that there was an emergency. We will definitely come again to get the full experience. Thank you to our wonderful server.

The food was Really Good, wish the portion were bigger and less pricey. The live music was amazing but the dance floor was small. Overall the service was wonderful and they were very accommodating to all my last min changes/requests. Had a fun night with my party group. Will be going back again 😊

Slowest service I've ever experienced
Only 2 waitresses for the entire place, didn't get service until 30 mins after we sat down
Drinks took 30 mins to come out, food took an hour
The kitchen either messed up or didn't make things that we ordered
Nice waitress but it was so understaffed that everything was just working against her

Service is slow and place is always cold. I think they should have more staffing if it's going to help with the slowness. Ceviche always seems to run out. The place is nice and food is pricey for it's quality. I think it needs improvement. When I complained to the manager all he did was give us free tequila. Seems that's how they solve thier problems.
