7 Pcs Nigiri & California Roll
Soup Infused Steamed Pork Dumplings
Deep Fried Shrimps on a Bed of Greens with Romesco Sauce
Delicious, as always
It was very good!! The meal was simple but delicious and fresh. Service was quick and the waiter was attentive, polite and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back!!!
Fantastic food and value. Sushi and sashimi were amazing, and enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the chefs prepare the rolls.
Very fresh sushi especially uni. Delicious house specialty rolls. Slightly pricey but worth the visit
This is one of our favorite restaurants, definitely our favorite Japanese restaurant.
Excellent raw fish items and cooked items. Service is efficient, caring and excellent. Welcoming neighborhood place - I go approximately once per week. Only complaint - they need to refurbish wall banquet -- covering has been totally worn away. Makes is uncomfortable and unsightly. If they did this, my overall rating would be 5 star.
The sushi and sashimi are always fantastic, buttery melt-in-your-mouth fresh and delicious. The appetizers we tried this time were all excellent as well. Service was prompt and attentive, always good. This is probably my favorite sushi restaurant in the East Village.
Perfect sushi and tempura
Very plain decor belies the sophisticated, fresh and delicious food
Excellent Sushi dinner out in the Big Apple. My g/f and I enjoyed many dishes like the duck roti and soft shell crab Karaage. For sushi we enjoyed the Wagyu, tuna and avocado roll as well as a king crab roll both superb. When then finished off the meal with the Red Dragon roll also excellent. No dessert for we were both to full but we were given a complimentary Nagiri dish at the end of the meal. If you’re looking for a solid sushi meal this is your place. I have Spoken🤔.
Had a reservation but easily moved it at the last minute to one hour earlier. There was a card of chef’s specials separate from the menu and these items were quite pricey, but the regular menu items were very reasonably priced, in my opinion. Staff very friendly.
Our go to place for sushi! This place is awesome and we love it!
The food was delicious - lots of choices. Very good service and a smaller restaurant that made it more intimate. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Will definitely recommend and return.
Try to Yuzo roll -- you will not be disappointed!
Sushi was excellent.
My new favorite sushi restaurant. Unbelievable quality of fish.
Love this place, fantastic sushi and service.
Absolutely amazing food!
The food and service at Yuba are always quite good. It is usually fairly quiet, too, and I appreciate that. This time, however, Yuba was rather noisy. It's a fairly small restaurant, and two noisy tables made the whole restaurant "energetic," to say the least. Too bad, as that level of noise made the whole dining experience less pleasant.
Always delicious and friendly staff.
Found a bug in my food
Fantastic sushi, and reasonably priced. Love this place!
Good service, Entrees are skimpy but delicious. Smallest platters ever had at any Japanese restaurant
Quality of the food is always outstanding and delicious and the servers are kind and attentive. Highly recommend but make reservations.
Portions way too small for the prices. We went to Indochine and ordered more food afterwards.
The best! Ivan's recommendations are always right on.
Don'r want to review how much we like it-- as it's already getting too crowded!
Amazing Sushi and Sashimi, and wonderful service.
Creative menu. Outstanding food and presentation. Great service. Stands out among the traditional Japanese restaurants found in the city. Will definitely return.
The part that bothered me most was being told by a waiter your table is only 2 hours after I booked a reservation and my party could not all arrive at the same time due to train delays and we weren’t going to stay there but to be reminded killed it for me. I am not accustom to that it felt like I was stereotyped.
We’ve always liked Yuba. The food is very good, and service is friendly end efficient. However, I would warn against letting the chef design your plate. With very little wine and no cocktails, our tab for four surprised us at nearly $400.
The waiters were very friendly. Food was good.
Gem of sushi in East Village. Quiet, charming and delicious.
We added a third person to our res, and wasn't sure if Yuba could accommodate. When I arrived, they offered us seats at the bar, which I wasn't as enthused about. When the other members of my party arrived, the Yuba staff accommodated us by giving us an actual 4 person table, making the experience much more positive! Very glad for that service, and the sushi is always delicious.
Our meal was absolutely fantastic! We will be back on our next visit to New York. We loved everything about the experience and the food was beautifully presented and delicious! You will not be disappointed!
My friend's roll was "the best" she had ever had and my black miso cod was plentiful and excellent. Yuba is a quiet, unassuming, moderately priced restaurant with delicious food and attentive service. My friend also had the freshly made vegetable dumplings--yum!
Sushi bar can’t be beat.
Great place for a quick bite. The food was good but not spectacular. We ordered a few rolls. The vegetable roll was really good and the rest were standard. Service was great... staff were very attentive and friendly.
This is a wonderfully creative and delicious place to eat. Most of their creations are spectacular and it is very well priced. Pleasant and simple decor but inviting. We were disappointed by our shrimp tempura which was not crisp and wonderful but a bit soggy. Recommendation would be to stick to the rolls, sushi and sashimi which are all excellent This was our fourth visit and it has been totally splendid every time.
