Friday - Saturday: 12:00 - 15:00, 18:00 - 24:00
Unfortunately I've lost all my previous past on OpenTable due to an email change and the impossible system to swap this over but I have dined here many times in the past.
Unfortunately the boss of the outfit wasn't working Bank Holiday Sunday night and there was a little slip in terms of service which was a real shame
Our food was spot on as usual apart from one of our party finding the colouring in her king prawns a bit excessive.
Brought us the wrong drinks but did rectify.
We'll be back
Great food and service
A lovely warm and friendly welcome always. Service is good and attentive. Menu is very interesting and diverse in terms of Indian food. Choices of Goan Nepalese and Indian continent favourites.
We had a big birthday family meal. Excellent.
We wanted try Zayka as the reviews were so good. Best in Ealing etc etc. We were quite excited. However we were not wowed by the food or the restaurant. I would say this is very average Indian fayre with a hint of Nepalese and Goyan thrown in. Our menus were sticky from previous customers use which didnt bode too well. The Food was not particularly inspiring, restaurant table layout not the best for a comfortable evening out. Our waiter was clearly a newbie and really didnt know how to wait. Plates taken away before we had finished etc. Zayak is certainly not the best in Ealing and there are others that are better. We could see that a lot of customers were regulars and I guess very local and it seems that the restaurant relies heavily on this customer base. It all seemed abit tired and in need of some inspiration to attract a new breed and maybe generation of customer. Not bad but not brilliant.
Amazing local cuisine that never disappoints. Staff are friendly and attentive
Great food. Very authentic dishes. Friendly staff and great service
Just keeps on delivering - consistently great food and lovely staff
Not the cheapest curry house you’ll ever visit but it’s so worth it. Food brilliant and amazing portion sizes
Took my sister for her first visit and she loved it
Big thumbs up
We are regulars here, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The quality of food was amazing! Everything was delicious! Can't wait to go again!
The restaurant is pretty plain - perhaps it could so with a few pictures or ornaments but the welcome is friendly. We were a group of 8 and the food was on the whole very good - couple of dishes which weren't so nice but I suppose each restaurant has their version of the classics. The black lentils were very good and the prawn puri was also a winner. Prices are reasonable - would recommend
This restaurant never lets us down and the free glass of wine at the end was a lovely touch. If you are in Ealing and you like Indian food then this is the place for you.
Very good, the place is clean and well run, food could do with a bit of salt but all in all very good good size portions.
We took my parents here who were over from Spain and they now have two new fans!!
The food was delicious, the service was very friendly they treat us like friends now. We got to try some new dishes and we were not disappointed, the king prawn curry was to die for.
We will be returning again and again and introducing all our friends to this little gem :)
Great food, friendly staff. Nice easy going atmosphere.
The food was so enjoyable, would recommend it to my friends and family. I used to go to the restaurant a long time ago with my father and it was his favourite place to eat. Don't live so local now but would definitely travel a bit further to enjoy such a good selection from your menu especially the shamee kebabs which hardly any Indian restaurants have on their menu
Outstanding food, with a great wide range of choices and the staff were very polite and helpful, they even helped with looking after and bring out our friends Birthday cake with the candles already lite!
Been here loads but tonight raised the bar
The spicy chicken dansak was without doubt the best curry dish I've had. Ever. Without question. Full stop
How busy it was proves how good it is
We all loved our meal out here, Indian is a family favourite and this ticked all the boxes, the food was delicious and pretty authentic. Made a really enjoyable evening to celebrate Mothering Sunday!
Ate here again and loved it, chicken is very succulent and garlic naan is a delight!!
Staff are very friendly and we were also offered a complimentary drink at the end of our meal, shame all restaurants do not do this, we will be back for sure!
We ate here due to the good reviews and we were not disappointed, as we are not big eaters we ordered half portions of both curry and rice which was very handy as no one wants to waste all that food. Everything we had was delicious from the poppadoms to the rice, the service was very friendly, they make you fell really welcome and valued from the moment you arrive. All in all it was a really lovely meal in a very nice restaurant with exceptional service, we will definitely be back!!
The restaurant provided an ideal venue for an informal get-together with friends. Good service and range of dishes to select, suiting all tastes. Family friendly as well as courteous and friendly staff. Thank you.
First time visit and would definetely return.
Staff were friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious and portion sizes were also good.
This place has yet to fail since we started using it as our local curry gaff
One slight issue this evening but very minor and the staff sorted it out quick as a flash
Quality food, great service and reasonable prices
What's not to like?
Nice local restaurant. Good food and good service. Indian music a little overpowering
Another visit to the local that went really well !!!
Huge mixed starter between two of us which was lovely
Wife's main course of chicken rogan was a bit bland but my Gherty dish was superb
Another thumbs up
Everything was lovely. Will be back again. Lovely lovely lovely
Second visit here after dropping into try it a few weeks back -- we took two of our friends with us so were hoping it was just as good. It was!
We've by-passed this place for far too long and so glad it's now on our radar for local curry houses and makes up for the sad loss of The Sitar a while back.
The service is absolutely spot on and the dishes are both plentiful and very tasty.
Next challenge is the delivery service.
We'll soon be regulars!
Quick service and friendly, attentive waiters. Relaxed environment great for dinner dates. Will definitely be coming back.
Service was faultless, really good food! Staff were really friendly, would recommend to anyone.
An low key, yet above average Indian restaurant with no fuss.
We had a noisy group in the small restaurant on Friday which makes a big difference to the small space.
The food is good as always although I was dissapointed to find no Lassi on the night... :'(
As always, the wine is pretty average and very expensive.
It is our local and we have got to know the staff over the years. Service is always excellent. Welcoming and a nice atmosphere. Food is excellent too very authentic and always additions to the menu.
Food was okay, was not overwhelmed....
I was not pleased after stating you could use tastecard they said it was not valid because I booked online!!!!!
So make sure you call to make a booking.
Nice local restaurant with efficient and friendly service. The food was good and they had a nice choice of wine. Will be returning.
Always great food and service, always a good atmosphere. Best curry in Ealing.
Living in France but visiting the UK regularly, I have to have a curry fix every time I'm here. Found Zayka on the net and was impressed with the reviews, so booked for myself and two friends. Both are curry lovers and were as impressed as I was. I returned last week, with another curry loving buddy and she was suitably impressed as well. Really comprehensive menu that I look forward to sampling further
Zayka never lets you down, great food, relaxed atmosphere, and fantastic value.
We dined at Zayka last Friday evening. We had a late table but that was no problem and we were greeted warmly. The food was delicious. They accomodated easily all our requirements for the varaious food allegies that our party had. The peshwari naan was light and fluffy and a firm favourite of my mother in law and she is hard to please!
I took my mum out for dinner as she wanted a good curry and that's what we got! The Service was very good - very friendly staff. The only thing was is that we had to order extra vindaloo sauce as the curries can be dry and the onion Bhaji's were slightly overcooked. My mum was very pleased with the big portions of chicken and the ambience was nice enough - you can tell it's very popular as it was very busy by the time we left the restaurant and the last time I was eating in me and my husband met the Brentford FC manager! I have been a customer for a year now and always get my takeaways from Zayka. Like Zayka very much!
Excellent food at a good price with great service (and convenient parking across the road). This time we took some friends and they really liked it too.
We went on a Monday night so it was quiet. The service was excellent as was the food. My only criticism was that the lighting is a bit bright, very minor. I will be returning and recommending to others.
