Trendy young families and South Ealing socialistas have embraced Zayka as their favourite new local curry house. Always filled with a buzzy crowd, Zayka is run by a former chef from Monty's - an Ealing dining institution down the road - and specialises in authentic Goan and Nepalese dishes. With free parking, a crisp granite-black and white interior and a healthy smattering of Indian wood-carvings and pot plants, this is the perfect South Ealing spot to meet friends and family for a cheap and cheerful curry. We love the Chicken Kafreal cooked with garlic, ginger, green peppers and coriander, and the mild Nepalese Meat Masala made with lamb, onions, spices and tomatoes.

Zayka Ratings and Reviews
We took my parents here who were over from Spain and they now have two new fans!!
The food was delicious, the service was very friendly they treat us like friends now. We got to try some new dishes and we were not disappointed, the king prawn curry was to die for.
We will be returning again and again and introducing all our friends to this little gem :)
The food was so enjoyable, would recommend it to my friends and family. I used to go to the restaurant a long time ago with my father and it was his favourite place to eat. Don't live so local now but would definitely travel a bit further to enjoy such a good selection from your menu especially the shamee kebabs which hardly any Indian restaurants have on their menu
We ate here due to the good reviews and we were not disappointed, as we are not big eaters we ordered half portions of both curry and rice which was very handy as no one wants to waste all that food. Everything we had was delicious from the poppadoms to the rice, the service was very friendly, they make you fell really welcome and valued from the moment you arrive. All in all it was a really lovely meal in a very nice restaurant with exceptional service, we will definitely be back!!
Second visit here after dropping into try it a few weeks back -- we took two of our friends with us so were hoping it was just as good. It was!
We've by-passed this place for far too long and so glad it's now on our radar for local curry houses and makes up for the sad loss of The Sitar a while back.
The service is absolutely spot on and the dishes are both plentiful and very tasty.
Next challenge is the delivery service.
We'll soon be regulars!
We dined at Zayka last Friday evening. We had a late table but that was no problem and we were greeted warmly. The food was delicious. They accomodated easily all our requirements for the varaious food allegies that our party had. The peshwari naan was light and fluffy and a firm favourite of my mother in law and she is hard to please!
Cannot speak highly enough of this restaurant.
It has been of such a consistent high standard for many years. The staff are excellent and the original owner who comes in and helps out is one of life's shining stars.
Food is always excellent and new recipes are often tried alongside the well liked staples of indian cuisine.
Service = top notch, could not be more helpful or friendly
Food = the best for miles around, cater for everyone and every whim, just ask and you shall receive
Value = poppadoms, a main dish each and rice for two with drinks under £30, what more can you ask for?
My advice - go there but be sure to book at the weekends or you wont get in !
We tried Zayka on a Monday evening looking for good Indian food and following recommendations and previous reviews. Very happy we did! This little restaurant has very nice and helpful staff and owner and the food is well prepared and very tasty. The menu is quite long, including lots of Goan and Nepalese specialties, with help from the waiter I choose a Goan chicken curry which was delicious. We also tried the lamb shank (very good), prawns vindaloo and two dalls, tarka dall and dall makhani, the black lentil dall which actually was the most favourite dish on the evening, very tasty!
We will definitely be back and now have their take away menu at home looking forward to Zayka becoming our regular Indian food fix.
Would happily recommend it!
I booked this restaurant as me and my husband fancied a good curry and we normally get our take-aways from Zayka.
We never been to the restaurant before so it was nice to sit inside for a change, the restaurant was what you would of expected to look like for an Indian restaurant. The food is simply wonderful, it didn't disappoint. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all.
We spent a lovely evening last Friday at Zayka. We have been going to Zayka since it opened and we are always given an outstanding welcome by Donal and his team. This time it was a family affair as my husband and I took our two children (9 and12) and my husband's mother who has been staying with us while the kids have been on school holidays. Zayka is always her first choice when asked where she would like to go in Ealing when she is staying with us. The food is always fresh and tasty. The restaurant is always spotless and we always have a lovely evening. The kids love it too especially the very soft and tasty naan bread. Cannot recommend it enough.
