It's one of the best choice in this little town center.
The window seats offer you both a view of the streets and some sunshine, during the good days.
It's been a long time that I can taste a pumpkin bisque which is not too salty, and the choices are relatively healthy, too.
We order a french dip which have a beef sandwich and a potato fries, and a soup. Share by two.
I have snooping the plates on other tables. the pasta looks good too.
Overall I will recommend this this during your stay of Niagara on the lake.
Wonderful experience! Food was divine! Breton our server was excellent as were the rest of the staff. Will definitely return and have recommended to many others already. Thank you!
Zee’s was new to us. Have been to most restaurants in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Great atmosphere, quiet. Across from Shaw Theater. Started with curried mussels which were tasty. Then on to lobster poached in butter with lobster risotto. Too generous! The best creme brûlée ever. Thick crispy top that broke with a perfect crack! Splurged on a $$$ bottle of Cabernet. Would recommend this to anyone who didn’t have kids. Would not bring kids here. Very small bar area. Would eat here next time we’re in the area.
We really enjoyed the food (wrap, salad, smoked salmon, gespachio soup). The table in the conservatory was bright and enticing. Lovely ambience. Attentive wait staff. Lunch was served in a timely manner, and we had time to enjoy a brief stroll before attending the play at Shaw. Relaxed timing to get to the show on time! The restaurant was close to the theatre so we only had to park once.
Food was good. I had the chicken and my husband had the risotto which was watery. Service was acceptable.
Excellent dinner and Sean our server was both informative and friendly
Four of us dined there before attending a performance at the Festival Theatre conveniently located across the street. The menu does not provide a lot of variety but the selections we chose were excellent. We took advantage of the BYO wine feature, part of the reason we selected this restaurant. However we were very disappointed to find a total charge of $20 corkage for simply removing a cork from the bottle that we brought and pouring into each wine glass. Would the corkage charge have been less if we brought a screw-topped bottle? The corkage charge should be clearly listed on their website, which should also include a list of all beverages with prices.
Best Surf & Turf we have ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection, prawns were delicious and dessert was to die for. I 100% recommend anyone looking for an amazing dining experience in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Amazing! Our server (Kim I believe) was fantastic. She recommended our entrees and we loved them. The swordfish was one of the best meals I've ever had. Delicious. The ambience was perfect. We wanted a romantic quiet restaurant. I can't wait to come back. Thank you for an excellent experience!
We had minimal time between shows at the Shaw. They had a very reasonable lunch menu, with good choices. Tasted great and they got us in and out with ease and a cheerful manner. What more could you ask?
Excellent choice for a lunch before a matinee at The Festival theatre in Niagara on the Lake.
Service was excellent. Very satisfying meal, nicely presented.
My gluten free wrap had very little inside compared to other visits. I am normally quite pleased with the offerings. Hoping this was just a fluke.
Excellent food and excellent service and right across the street from the Festival theatre.
I have eaten here more than 5 times and this was the first entree I did not consider good. I ordered the swordfish and it was overcooked and dry. My wife's salmon was, however, excellent.
Four of us wanted a good pre.theatre dining experience with vegetarian..fish options. Sees fit the bill. The food was fresh and tasty. Our server tried to be attentive but had an overload of tables to serve. She was pleasant and interesting but not always there when we needed something. The salmon and swordfish selections were excellent. One criticism..
The caesar salad was just nice greens with cheese. It needed more romaine and anchovies and tasty croutons. We had no time for coffee or dessert so no comment on that.
A delightful experience. Worked well being so close to the theatre. We would definitely come back again.
Everything about Zees Grill is wonderful. The wait staff are very knowledgable about all food selections and are eager to answer any questions. The presentation is elegant and the food is always delicious and served at proper temperature.
Delightful verandah eating right across from theatre.
Pretty expensive for what you get, but it’s a tourist town.
Food is well prepared and nicely presented.
Our waiter Weston was excellent. The ambience of the porch is exceptional and I would, and have, recommended Zees to a number of my friends. I met a friend from Rochester at Zees last year for the first time and when we were planning our meeting this week, she immediately suggested returning to Zees.
Zees was absolutely amazing! Kim, our server, was wonderful! The food was exceptional and the ambiance delightful! We will definitely choose Zees when we return to NOTL.
Food was very good and the patio was very comfortable and nice
Overpriced but decent food and service
Love coming here for breakfast when in town.. food is great and so is service.
The food was scrumptious and the servers are friendly and helpful!
Great quality food, service went out of their way to make it a good experience
Your staff was very helpful in all respects. Any request was attended to immediately
We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the covered patio. Our server Jenn was outstanding in helping us with our entree choice and the meal service. The calamari was excellent. The salmon burger was uniquely breaded like a crab cake and was delicious. A truly wonderful dining experience that will be a must go to upon a return to Niagara on the Lake.
The restaurant was very busy as it was lunch just before the matinee show. The food waa really good and the service was good at the beginning and end but scarce between. We would return and overall very good.
Wonderful selection of luncheon foods. Had the open face salmon sandwich and my friend had the turkey sandwich. She had her left hand in a cast-like apparatus and needed something that could easily be held with one hand. Our server, Jacob, recommended her sandwich. Service was excellent and we had a great table located on the porch, out of the sun and we could watch the action on the main street. It was very busy but sound was at a minimum. This was our 3rd year eating at Zee's and look forward to returning again next year.
Our server John was very helpful about menu items and provided smooth table service.
Excellent, as always. Service was impeccable. Food was served piping hot. Salmon Duo with different coloured carrots. The presentation was appetizing. The Death By Chocolate was heavenly.
The people at Zees grill are friendly and accomodating.
A beautiful night to sit on the covered porch. Attentive service. Good menu choices and well-prepared food. Northern Lights cocktail was particularly creative. Enjoyed the salmon croquettes app. Third time there over the last 5 or 6 years. Always a good experience.
Enjoyed our meal at Zees Grill before heading to the theatre - great location! My only regret was that we didn't get an outdoor table on the porch - it was full.
The food was amazing. I especoally loved the pork belly!
Zees is directly adjacent to the Festival
Very pleasant server. Food is okay not great. Quite expensive for what you get... barely average food at very superior prices. Atmosphere is pleasant enough.
Delicious! Food top rate.
We dine at Zees every trip before seeing a show at the Shaw. Food is always outstanding and service excellent. Will return again next year.
