First time at Zeret, so wasn't sure what to expect! However, lovely food, great wine list and very nice staff. Couldn't manage pudding as was too full.
Excellent Restaurant, greeted by the owner and lovely smile. The food was excellent and will certainly visit again.
This is literally the best Ethiopian/Eritrean food I’ve ever had.
Best value for money in the area, in a part of London that's known for cheap, quality food. If you don't get the special for two, with 6 or so stews and salad spread across a giant injera bread plate, you're doing it wrong.
Lively Ethiopian restaurant with authentic food. Warm and friendly service if a little bit slow. Young crowd provided lively atmosphere.
Fantastic food, wonderful service, amazing value.
Really good food, service and ambience! Thank you Xeret Kitchen!
Fantastic food, happy, friendly and attentive staff, great atmosphere. Our night at Zeret Kitchen was an amazing experience. I strongly recommend this place.
Delicious food and very kind and friendly staff. It all came very fast as well, and the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and come again!
Zeret is a neighbourhood gem, great food, friendly service and very popular
This is my go to place for Injera and the best in London as far as I’m concerned. Food is incredible and so is the staff
Unbelievably good food and lovey service. Highly recommend
Zeret kitchen was very delicious and a steal for the price. Myself and my partner had the set meal, which consists of numerous dishes served on a large sharing dish. Beneath all the food dishes is a layer of injera bread, which was very tasty, and the meal is also served with a seemingly limitless supply of extra injera bread. No cutlery is provided, but clearly this is to facilitate the authentic cultural experience of eating the dish with the injera bread.
Will definately love to visit again, the experience, value and taste was infallible. Would recommend all to try at least once.
Excellent Ethiopian food! Their chicken and lamb special allows you to taste several dishes and represents great value. Good food and friendly service--what more could you want?
Very nice bunch of people running this restaurant.
Needs better ambience and a quieter environment (eg.nicer artwork on the walls and tables and chairs, table decorations and candles). But the food was good and the service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant if you are into Injira and Ethiopian/Eritrean food.
Lovely food and a really warm welcome. Highly recommend.
Very tasty good. Wonderful presentation. The spices are perfect. It was a finger licking experience. The best Ethiopian food. I will eat more Ethiopian from now on and will make sure to visit Zeret again when i come back to UK. I told all my friends to pass by when they travel.
The owner was present in the restaurant and she personally took the order. Very nice lady with amazing cooking skills.
Good Ethiopian food in Camberwell. Particularly good injera. The special for two was very good value, but we must try more dishes next time (I'm keen to try the kitfo and gomen)! Very friendly service and a choice of Ethiopian beers as well as wine. We will be back!
My fourth visit in 3 years and I was delighted that Zeret is as maintaining the standards I experienced on my first visit . Always a good sign that restaurant off the main drag is full on a Sunday evening. Charming staff, - all still there - another good sign - great service and I highly recommend the sharing mains courses. Keep up the good work Zeret! A wonderfully different dining experience.
It was great! The best one of London. I would visti it again and again.
By far one of my favourite places in the area! The food is always delicious and the staff (owners) are absolutely sensational! Very attentive and friendly!! Must recommend!
By far the best Ethiopian restaurant in London. We come back again and again!
I've never had a bad meal here. The food is delicious, and the quantities are absolutely huge! They're such kind hosts and are always willing to box up anything you can't finish! It's a neighbourhood gem this place.
Excellent food and service. I have had this restaurant recommended to me by several people and I was not disappointed. My partner is gluten intolerant, but that was not an issue as they cater to people with allergies and dietary requirements. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. It was our first experience with Ethiopian cuisine so we asked the staff for recommendations. The Ethiopian honey wine was summery and light, perfect with our meal. The meal had a kick to it, but it was not too spicy. We ordered a shared platter for two, with vegetable and meat dishes. It was the perfect combo. This is our new favourite place in London and we will definitely be back.
Tasty - and plentiful! - Ethiopian food. Don't be put off by the exterior appearance of the restaurant: it's well worth a visit. If - like me - you're unfamiliar with Ethiopian cuisine, the friendly staff are more than happy to explain the menu and suggest dishes you might like.
Would never guess from the street how amazing this place is on the inside! We had the vegan plate to share. Was a bit thrown when she said no forks but it was brilliant to eat the food using the bread. Great service.. excellent value. Got a bit noisy when a large group came in later but it was Saturday night. Loved it.
Very good food and very good value.
Visited with a friend and found the food to be good quality and well presented.
Have been here several times and it's always great. Food is delicious and extremely good value, staff are lovely. Make sure you book, it's always busy.
Took a chance on trying a new cuisine and can definitely see why the ratings are so high, will definitely be trying again!
Lovely food, lovely service. Good, fresh experience.
Absolutely great food! I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to experience Ethiopian food.
Food is amazing.
Service is great 👍🏼
AMAZING FOOD AND PEOPLE. Where is their Michelin Star?????
Food and service (super fast!) were just amazing. Friendly and lovely people work there :) I'd highly recommend it. We'll be back for sure
This was AMAZING! I I love Ethiopian food and was not disappointed. Great taste and decent prices. They had kind of like a meal deal for 1 person, with either a veggie/vegan or chicken/lamb option for reasonable price (less than £15). The portion sizes were good, and the service was excellent - fast, super friendly and welcoming. Will come again.
Delicious food with great sharing platters, the meat sharing platter for two and the vegan platter for one are my favourites! Do try the Ethiopian honey wine, delicious. The service was great, staff were quick, attentive and friendly even though the restaurant was completely packed on a Friday night. Also, it’s great value for money. No complaints at all and would go back again!
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service!
Another great meal! Can't ask for better!!
