Great little restaurant! We had the 2 person sharing platter which is perfectly sized for two people and has a great range of flavours. Not cutlery needed, its all eat with your hands! Food came out exceptionally quick and was great value.

By mistake the system accepted a reservation before opening time, and they very kindly invited us to sit down and apologized that the service was going to be slower as the restaurant was not open yet. Excellent food and great service.

We are so pleased we finally visited Zeret Kitchen - we live just around the corner and had heard great things, but it exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is lovely, it smells divine, its candlelit and has a lovely ambience. We are novices to this style of food and the staff talked us through everything, and advised us on wha to order which was spot on. The meal itself was beyond delicious - it was interesting, flavoursome, comforting. We loved it and we will be back - such good value too: £55 for dinner for 2, 2 alcoholic drinks each, a bottle of water and 12.5% service charge (We calculated and added this ourselves, the bill comes without service).

We have been meaning to try Zeret for ages but it's a long way from where we live in North London but it was great. We have tried a fair few Ethiopian and Eritrean places and I always like them but find it's hard to seperate one from the other. I thought the quality of food at Zeret was one step up. Friendly staff and nice buzzy venue too.

The yummiest ethiopian food ever. Be aware you will be full up the portions are amazing, the chicken is good. My sister got the rice and chicken and said the rice was a bit bland. I got the Zeret surprise which was DELICIOUS especially the chickpeas. Glass of wine was lovely! It’s very affordable, local and staff are lovely. Support local business we’d go again 100%.

Adore this place!!!! The lovely lady who owns it is so hospitable ams friendly. She’s always welcoming us with open arms. We always have the Zeret Surprise and absolutely adore it!!!! I thoroughly recommend this gem!!!!

Delicious and generous portions of flavourful food in a cosy environment. Staff was extremely friendly. Perfect place for dinner and catching up with friends alongside a glass or two of tej. My first time trying Ethiopian and I certainly don’t regret it - will be coming back!

Discovers this place 2 weeks ago and had to bring my family a week later to celebrate my mother’s birthday.

First time having Ethiopian cuisine, my mum and I ventured over from north London as the reviews had been so great. We absolutely loved it and the owner is a gorgeous woman who is very happy and generous in her time, energy and she filled up our plate with extra food when we ran low! The food was absolutely delicious and will definitely be returning!!

Would definitely come back here. The food was amazing and am keen to try other vegan/ vegetarian choices!
