Good food and drinks pizza and salads so nice . Lovely atmosphere, great staff.
Good atmosphere, noisy (as expected) and busy (hence a bit of a wait). Nice food and beers.
Warm welcome by the duty manager, great table, great beer choices and the food was spot on. Really enjoyed watching the match and well looked after throughout. Will be back!
Really good tasty food - portion size was large and eat very hearty.
It was not very busy but the single waiter for our section was run off his feet - very nice chap.
Really lovely food. There was a mistake with the kitchen that meant we waited a long time for starters but they didn't charge us for starters and gave us a free bottle of rose wine. Nice food, nice atmosphere and good service.
This was a chance pre theatre find for us and we will definitely be back! The food was great and was obviously freshly cooked. The beers were interesting too. The service was fantastic, couldn’t fault anything about this place!
good food, great beer, lovely chilled atmosphere, very attentive service and great value for money.
What more can you ask.
Pre- theatre meal. Table available on arrival. Staff very attentive and starters and main course very tasty. Would happily return!
We love our visits to Zero Degress Cardiff. The mango beer is essential and we always enjoy the pizzas. However on our recent visit in a party of 6, my husband’s pizza was not of the usual standard and unfortunately the eggs on my carbonara pizza were not cooked properly. A little disappointed as we always rave about the place! It seeemed as if the oven was not hot enough, perhaps due to the restaurant being busy. The base of my husband’s pizza seemed rather soggy. Hopefully, usual standards will have resumed on our next visit!
Really friendly staff, convenient location and the prices were reasonable also. Superb quality - And I'm someone who has tried alot of Italian restaurants and spent alot of time there myself! Will be coming back for sure and getting an uber so I can try all the beers!
Staff were lovely but no mussels which was why we went there. Didn't want pizza or pasta so unfortunately had to go elsewhere.
Great beers, starters and pizzas with wider variety of toppings than usual. super crispy bases. We were unlucky in that there were two big parties so our order was slower than expected but staff apologised and we were happy to enjoy the craft beers on offer. Great building
I would say to my friends it was ok.
The gentleman that treated us (sorry didn’t catch his name as moved so fast! Maybe duty manager?) wasn’t very welcoming, took us upstairs quickly! , threw menus on table and walked off! Not a welcome I particularly liked. Took three requests for water on the table. Rest of staff friendly enough. Won’t be rushing back.
Quicker to get a drink downstairs at the bar over table service
Fantastic meal within a unique (micro brewery) setting, beer (especially the Mango Beer) exceptional and very friendly and efficient staff with a great atmosphere.
Well worth a visit.
Can you open a similar restaurant in Glasgow?
I booked this restaurant from the trip advisor feedback. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. As it is set in a brewery it needed to be buzzing for an atmosphere. Sadly a lot of the dishes were not on....all the mussels in buckets which made up a big percentage of the menu. We all ended up having pizzas, made to order and delicious. The service was brilliant. Very attentive and cheery waiters.
A leaving meal for work colleagues - quick service, amazing cocktails and bonus that it was 2-4-1 cocktails on a Thursday evening!
Service was slow, other tables were being brought food before ours, even though they had ordered much later, missed the start of the football due to this delay, would not return for business meal again
Very good food, lovely evening. Would go back, even catered to gluten free very easily.
Good quality food, however a really poor service by the waiting staff, one in particular never acknowledged when I raised my hand to ask for help and was reluctant to accept a voucher I had checked with the host that I was entitled to, and a massive level of noise turn a romantic Saturday night dinner with my partner into a very unpleasant experience. Any pub in Cardiff has better standards.
Excellent value for money. The chicken tagliatelle is sublime. Eaten here 6 or 7 times and have never left disappointed.
Really like this place - good beers and excellent pizza. Met up with an old friend. I had pre-booked a table as the previous Friday I had been it was really busy. Was quieter than expected, had a nice table on the balcony with a view of the floor. Definitely one to recommend for Cardiff.
Great service and delicious food and a lively atmosphere
The food and service here was fantastic. We had booked a table, but due to a friend being in town last minute had more people in our party than expected. The service here was great however and they were happy to make room for another person. Great food and really great bar. I would definitely recommend.
Food and staff were excellent. The toilets are looking a bit tired and rough around the edges, also there were lots of dead flies hanging off the wall next to our table.
The food is fantastic, will definitely be going back! Nice cocktails too. Slightly difficult to get the wait staff's attention when needed and the ambiance was a little lacking but the quality of the food made up for that.
From the booking to paying the bill, Zerodregrees was great. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be going back.
Booked in on Sunday early afternoon, had hoped to watch the football and have some food/drinks before going to a show Sunday night. We were met with an empty bar and told that they were not showing the football (over the World Cup ... wtf?!) and also that it was too busy to make cocktails so we couldn’t order any ... in an almost empty bar! Absolutely bonkers! Food was great but honestly couldn’t wait to finish up and leave. As we left, the football suddenly appeared on the TV and someone at the bar was making some sort of cocktail. Customers who had planned to stay ate, left and won’t be in a rush to return. Sort your communication out please (and your ludicrous football decisions!).
Good choice of food, delicious salads and pizza. Service was friendly and quick.
The Mango beer is amazing and the selection of pizza unique. Been here twice and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommend the Jamaican pizza and spiedini. Please open up a restaurant near Liverpool or Manchester!
We can't recommend this place highly enough. The pizzas are amazing and excellent value.
The beer is great and brewed on the premises but what sets this place apart from the rest is the staff. We had a great welcome and the service was exceptional.
Looking forward to returning again soon and sampling the rest of your beers.
Thank you!
Great venue and atmosphere and attentive staff and very close to the principality stadium for the Rolloing Stones concert, ideal for a day out.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch of salmon tagliatelle, unfortunately I was extremely sick two hours later. Could only have been what I ate here as I hadn't eaten anything else all day. My husband enjoyed pizza and a glass or two of black lager which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Fab - excellent food n lovely beverages, staff are awesome friendly and the atmosphere is great! Really good value for money too! Would highly recommend.
I can't fault this place.
We booked via Open table which was fuss free. Welcomed the moment to entered and Shown to our table and left to peruse the variety of pizzas and Italian menu options. The view of the kitchen area is a real bonus as u can see your food being prepared.
The food - we had the roast vegetable pizza and a margarita pizza with mushrooms. Side order of chips. The pizzas are a delight to eat. The chips are served with mayonnaise which was creamy. There is enough chips for two.
We had the cheesecake for dessert . It tasted as wonderful as it looked.
We had a bottle of wine, large glass of wine and a liquor coffee (nice and strong) The bill came to £70 which is quite reasonable.
There is an optional 10% serve charge automatically added to the bill. However the service was excellent with the customary 'is everything ok' during our meal and the headwaiter making us feel welcome from showing us to our table immediately to wishing us well on leaving. We actually added an additional tip which was definitely deserved.
Will return I am sure and would recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff.
Fantastic pizzas and mussels! Maybe the best pizza in Cardiff.
All round excellence. Staff were great. Roof top dining was nice
Booked at 930 on OpenTable - turned up but they stopped serving food an hour before...went to Small Bar instead who served food till 1030pm - suggest Zero Degrees don't offer times that don't exist for booking
Great atmosphere, food and service. Very close to our accomodation. Will definitely go there again.
Went here as part of a trip to Cardiff. The place looks fab with microbrewery fitted inside. Beer was good and the pizza was amazing! We got to sit outside in the balcony ( until it started raining!-) Then we were moved inside. The outdoor area is great and would recommend this if the weather permits! The only thing that let this place down slightly was the service which was good but we never got asked if we wanted anything after our main course (which we did!). However, we went downstairs for a beer instead which was fab!
