Zizzi is delighted to announce a fresh and funky redesign of its central Brighton location to reflect this vibrant town. The restaurant, established some 7 years ago, is in the heart of the historic Lanes area of Brighton, in amongst the fabulous maze of twisting alleyways, antique shops and boutiques. The restaurant unveiled it's new look on 15th October. Zizzi has collaborated with local artists; illustrator Rosie Shorter and Photographer Moose Azim, to reflect their visual interpretation of this diverse town and its particular character. Downstairs the themes of the beach and outdoors influence the colour palette with lamps resembling clouds and clever use of pebbles which feature strongly throughout the restaurant. Upstairs the photo montage helps to transform the dining area into a sophisticated yet edgy space. The black, white and raspberry theme of the Tom Dixon mirror ball pendants are framed by carnival lights around the edge of the ceiling.

Babies everywhere. Definitely not somewhere you want to have a romantic date on a Saturday! So the ambience was awful but I was only there with a friend.

Aweful bland food no flavour for starters or main meal apart from some bland runny salsa a lot of food unavailable - the salt and vinegar tops had a pink sticky residue and the floor was covered in food

Booked this table for a night out with my partner and when we arrived there was no pizzas on the menu at all...one of the reasons we book here. On a sat night in Brighton we had no where else we could get into so had to stay...real disappointment

I have eaten at a few Zizzi's and the food in the Brighton branch is just as good as my local one. Place was buzzing and the waitress who was served us was lovely!

Slightly alarmed when we arrived as Zizzi Brighton did not have our booking through Open Table on their list, good job I had the email with me to back up my booking. They said they were having problems with Open Table at the moment, as this had happened recently and with a very large booking; this has not given me much confidence in booking through Open Table for the future. The evening luckily continued with brilliant service and very enjoyable food. Thank you Zizzi Brighton for your attentive and fast service, we will be back.

Lovely food with great service. However menu rather small and seating a bit on top of each other. Not great for a romantic venue, but pre concert, theatre, great.

Restaurant was clean and bright, good atmosphere. It can be difficult to get staff's attention at times but nevertheless staff was friendly and willing to help. Food is lovely, will be back again!

We had lunch today at the Zizzi restaurant in Brighton. We ordered pasta, pizza & a meat plate (pork belly) and everything was correct. Average food in an average restaurant.

Visited Zizzi in Brighton for business lunch. I asked to sit at a quite corner and waiter gladly did so. Lunch trade was average, great service but can be difficult to find waiters at times. Food has great flavours and pizza was lovely, but my pasta is too much of al-dante as they say it. I would visit again but would avoid pasta next time.

The restaurant was busy on the evening before the Brighton Half Marathon but we still managed to secure a booking an hour before dinner. We were met by very friendly FOH and waiting staff.
We started with mixed olives and goats cheese with sweet onion reduction that was very tasty and a perfect entre for the mains to come. We shared two risotto dishes, one with seafood and one with chicken and wild mushroom. The ambience was great and the evening very good value for money

We went to Zizzis in Chester last night and had a lovely meal but two of the main course portions were quite small and my daughter and friend came away hungry. However the service and staff were very friendly and efficient even though I could only see three of them having to serve the whole restaurant.

As usual Zizzi's did not disappoint, great food for good prices and a busy and festive atmosphere. My only disappointment this time, as a regular visitor, the staff are usually very friendly and the service is esxceptional, yet this time they chose to be a bit offish and unattentive and even scoffed within easy earshot because we hadn't left enough of a tip.....a tip that we were sorting out while they were openly rude. This one off occasion will not put me off though!

Zizzi in Brighton is a great place for a fresh pizza, pasta, or risotto. Many other meat dishes on the menu, and salalds,of course, and a pretty comprehensive selection of wines. For a quick business lunch or a chinwag lunch with your best friend it's a good place to meet. Friendly staff and piping hot food makes for a very pleasant meal.

Zizzi's Brighton- haven't been here for a long time and was really pleasantly surprised. Service was efficient and staff very friendly and helpful with food suggestions. Food absolutely delicious; my friend had a pizza which was huge and I had a salad which was one of the best I have ever had. The best of all the Italians I have been to in Brighton.

As always exceptional service and great food for a great price, of all these sort of restaurants about at the moment, Zizzi's can't be beat, they have it just right.

Zizzi restaurant in Brighton is just a couple of minutes walk from the sea front. It is advisable to book in advance as it can get very busy. The food is up to the Zizzi standard, hot and made with fresh ingredients whenever possible. My wife and I go to Zizzis in different areas around where we live, and we have never had a bad meal. They had unfortunately run out of my favorite wine, but a substitute was reccomended which was every bit as good. a restaurant chain I am happy to reccomend.

This our 2nd meal at Zizzi's in as many weeks. 1st visit we were pleasantly surprised at both the service, it was a busy Saturday night and the food - our expectations are not always high for a chain restaurant. The 2nd visit the service was even better - our waiter was FANTASTIC! I went back a 2nd time just to have the King Prawn Penne in Vodka Sauce - delicious and the closest to well cooked pasta I've had since being in Rome!

Despite turning up 40 minutes late on a busy Saturday evening, we were very well looked after until a table became available 10 minutes later. During the whole meal the service was proffesional and discreet. The food was of a very high standard for a chain and the menu quite extensive. Overall, very impressed and will definitely go back.

At Zizzi in Chester we were seated straight away but had to wait a while for our drinks order to be taken. The food was excellent, we had the bruschetta, dough sticks (could have done with some garlic butter) and 3 lovely pasta dishes with a bottle of wine. As the main course was delayed we were offered a complementary glass of Prosecco. Overall the service was a bit slow, but it was worth the wait. I have the NUS student discout card so the price was good too!

We needed a quick delicious meal and found it. Staff were super helpful and our 2 year old son loved his paste as much as his parents enjoyed our pizza and calzone. If there is a downside it's the tiny toilet the restaurant was practically empty and I still had to queue! Food, service and location more than made up for that though. Zizzi beats pizza express into a distant second place.
