Zizzi - Edinburgh Quay
We enjoyed the friendly and efficient service. Ordered the pizza rustica which I would have again. Yum.
The staff didn't knowledge my booking as it was for 10pm on New Years Eve , even it was made 3 days before, a lady upon entrance said they were closing and the excuse she gave us upon arrival was "this is because you made the booking on a external website"; what does that suppose to mean?
Totally unacceptable !
I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know and beware, "confirmed" bookings here means nothing to them
Food and service were excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant did not have any record of my booking despite me having a confirmation email. Thankfully they were able to fit us in although the manager made clear she was doing me a favour which was a bit disappointing when I had a valid email confirmation.
Very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good!
Enjoyed a delicious seabream with Isle of Wight salad.
Had a really pleasant meal staff and food was excellent have been coming in to Edinburgh. For festival. For many years and always go to zizzies for our meal no complaints at all thank you x
Menu and food great as always but the service was dreadful, while it was a busy evening a smile from the waitress would have been nice.
Food was up to Zizzi's usual standards, though whether the extra cost of Rustica pizza base is good value is debatable. "Italian hot" chillies were exceptionally hot, much, much hotter than at eg Pizza Express. Wouldn't choose that Pizza again. Service was fast and efficient, but thee was some consternation when I attempted to pay using the Qkr! App advertised on the menu, so decided usual CC payment was easier. OK for a pre-cinema meal but I wouldn't rush back.
Hidden away a little and park in multi storey car park, but enjoyed the canal views, great and food and staff were very attentive, recommend.
When you visit a restaurant you want the staff to show that they want you to be there and not treat you as a nuisance. The staff here welcome you, are friendly and efficient with out being intrusive. Makes all the difference.
Edinburgh Quay is clean, warm, plenty of space between tables, food is excellent, prices are fair, good wine list and caters well for a family occasion.
Our family had just come in to Edinburgh after a grueling journey from the States, and eating at Zizzi on the Quay was an excellent way to unwind an otherwise-stressful day. An additional bonus was that the short walk from our Edinburgh residence gave us a brief overview of the town.
Food is very good as is the service have been about 4 times in the last month and will go back a lot more . Excellent all round
Food was good, however service was poor. Quite simply not enough staff and a manager with a face like a wet Wednesday ! Happy staff make customers feel happy. He clearly wanted to be somewhere else !
We took our family for early dinner and were very pleased with service, food etc. We were seated upstairs which was prefect for our 3 yr old grandson to move about, wasnt too busy
Zizzi is the perfect venue when en route to a game at Murrayfield. The food and service were very good and the bill for our party of 10 heavy drinkers was reasonable. We will happily return next time we are in Edinburgh.
Had the 50% off deal and the food was beautiful. A juicy chicken on foccaccia made up my main meal and I was stuffed.
Staff were friendly although the table I was at was a little dark.
I would reccommend Zizzi Edinburgh Quay for a vist.
There was 10 of us and we all had a great time, great food, great service! We all got what we asked for with no problems and the food was really tasty!
Had a very enjoyable evening catching up with sister and brother in law. Can recommend the shared starter - antipasti Zizzi of fresh meats, mozzarella, roasted tomatoes and olives. For main course we had a whole range of food - I had the Linguine Arrabiata N’Duja which as the menu said was fiery and spicey and my wife had the Pollo Al Prosciutto, sister had a risotto and brother in law had a pizza, all of which they thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend. Had a bottle of wine but quite pricey for low end quality - had the montepulciano. Service was excellent - waitress was very attentive without being overbearing.
Great service, lovely fresh food all served with a smile!
Been here a few times, handy for an after shopping or cinema meal.
Food was good, service fast and friendly.
Calzone Pizza always goes down well!
Excellent food, I went after cinema and was ideal!
Loved the pizza, was quick service, nice ambience and good value!
Zizzi in Edinburgh Fountain Quays is a great family restaurant. Service is friendly and attentive; the kids get to doodle with sharp pencils (a rarity!) and the food is very tasty and good value.
Nice for a quick pre cinema meal. Quick service, tasty food, good offers. Would eat here again.
Dined at the restaurant in Hornchurch Saturday
Great service and very nice polite people. The waiter was very attentive and well -mannered.The food was great and we had a really nice time.
Only down side the restaurant it self was a bit cold.
Zizzi, edinburgh Quay.
Nice place, friendly staff, nice setting looking over the canal. Food was nice and service was quick. We went at night but would like to go back during the day or on a summer evening to appriciate the setting.
Zizzi at Edinburgh Quays for a meal before the Hogmany street party. Prompt service, tasty enough food. No complaints.
I found the menu to be varied and reasonable priced. The meal itself to be excellent. The service was excellent as well. The waiter never wrote the order down but on every occassion somehow managed to get it correct!
Good food, quick, efficient service
Edinburgh Quay Zizzi is in a great spot and the atmosphere is always buzzing with the work crowd at lunchtimes....its always busy so i recommend you book or get in early!
food was fab, menu is varied and all very tasty. whether its the strozapetti pasta or the sofia rustica pizza....yum!
service is a little slow as its so busy and only a few people struggling with the demands...
I visited Zizzi Upminster on 22/8/11 as it was our 41st wedding anniversary. We eat regularly at this restaurant as the food, service and location are excellent. On this occasion we thoroughly enjoyed our meal ( duck and lamb were cooked to perfection).
We remain impressed with the efficiency and standard of the food at this restaurant.
Zizzi - Upminster is in an excellent location close to the Hornchurch Town centre. Hornchurch is a popular area with diners of mixed ages, including young groups & families. Zizzi's restaurant is busy at the week-end so you may need to book. The new menu offers a variety of meal choices to suit everyone from a mouthwatering classic duck dish to pasta, fish and vegetarian selections. Watch out for special deals too. The service is friendly and quick and the food is delicious!
very nice meal.
Zizzi at Edinburgh Quay always provides a delicious meal and is a great place to go to before the cinema! Ambience of restaurant is relaxed.
Food and value very good. Will definitely be back in the near future.
6 of us met for a meal at Zizzis Hornchurch on Monday evening. It was excellent. Great service and good food - highly recommended!
Good value food. Service was once again a little slow but fine if you're not in a hurry.
The girls went to Zizzi at the canal in Edinburgh Fountainbridge. Gnocchi with gorgonzola was delicious as was the calamari, pizza bread with balsamic caramelised onions. Three of us went for the duck which was very tasty - the large Rustica pizza proved too much for the fourth lady but a take home box was willingly provided. Bill was v.reasonable with their 25% off everything offer!
Zizzi at Edinburgh Quays is lovely - nice and relaxed and delicious, simple food.
