Zizzi - Finchley Road O2 Centre
Generally enjoyable. I like that they identify lower calorie options
One of the best quick service Italian restaurants around. The food is at a far higher level of quality than anyone could imagine or even expect for a chain. Was not always thus but the menu changes made a couple of years or so ago have been outstanding. The recent additions to the wine list are excellent also while still remaining great value.
Zizzi at O2 is a standard chain restaurant with no frills barred aura about it. A great place for a casual get-together with a good service and even better price value. You cant go wrong with their usual salad, pizza and pasta for good hearty comfort eating. Their passion fruit punch is a good option to the otherwise usual sweet soft drinks offered.
The restaurant had not even prepared for our reservation and I was told I hadn't booked even though I had. 3 small tables were pushed together which was awkward for the party size. When people arrived at different times they were not asked if they would like a drink. I couldn't get hold of a waitress and had to wait half an hour before I finally got someone's attention. Everyone's food was nice however I had the chicken ceaser salad which had dry chicken and it was a really small portion size. The place did not have a nice ambience and overall the service was terrible. A disappointment from Zizzi as they are normally really good.
Great place to go for lunch with the family . Good tasty Italian food.
Great place to go for lunch with the family . Good tasty Italian food.
Decent Italian food with good pizza although a bit pricey for what you get. Service was frustrating and appeared to be short staffed even if not that busy.
Went to Zizzi with 2 friends, food was alright, but nothing to write home about, the place is big, but despite it being Bank holiday, was half empty.
One thing I have to say, instead of paying £6 for 4hr parking at O2 Centre, I paid extortionate £20! Because no one told us to validate it :(
Service sometimes took a while - given it wasn't very busy it was slightly disappointing. Food was OK, but it seems they have changed the calamari as it just came in a flat plate with a bit of salad, it used to be a great starter, it seems they have cut back.
nothing special but you do get the level of service and food you would expect from a chain
the food is excellent, nice stuff however they should have more stuff
Popped in after the cinema at the same venue. Unfortunately so did a number of other parties which did not help the service or noise levels. Food when it arrived was good but there are better options nearby.
Good food for a pre theatre meal - also used 25% off voucher available from the Zizzi website. Not much atmosphere but a convenient location.
Following watching a great movie we wandered down to Zizzi's for something to eat. The restaurant was busy but we had booked and wee seen top table quickly. Food was great, kids loved it although service was slow and took perhaps longer then should... overall though very happy!
Not my first choice, but conveniently located near Odeon Swiss Cottage and as it came up through a TopTable search, it was selected. The menu is neither bad nor great, mostly focused on pizzas and rather pricey for what it is. It is family friendly which makes it rather too noisy at times... Will I visit again? 50/50
Nice lunch with my boyfriend and mum here, service was friendly although we had to get staff attention for water a couple times. Antipasto platter was delicious and enough for 4 comfortably. Pizzas were huge!! 2 between 3 was more than enough I would definitely go again
Had a wonderful dinner there, pre-cinema. Amazing food... pizzas are incredible, if not too large :)
As you would expect for the 02 centre the place was very busy, unfortunately this causes a lot of waiting time as the staff are a bit stretched to say the least. Food overall was good, typical chain Italian fare. Convenient if you are attending a concert at the 02.
Nice atmosphere within the restaurant. Quite open but also secluded section for the couples. Food is always good with zizzi. Staff friendly. Overall worth it
Good Italian food at a reasonable cost
Restaurant was ok. Food was fine, nothing special. Staff were friendly but as it was so busy, hard to get hold of. Will not be rushing back to 'Zizzi' any time soon though.
Soooo good I can't believe it's a chain. The best thing out of the cichetti is the prawns. Pastas were flavorful and al dente, and pizzas were delightful and thin-crust. Very warm but airy atmosphere as well.
I had a meeting with a valued client/friend in London and wanted a venue near to Paddington station as I was travelling from Bath. Sheldon Square is just a short walk from the station along the canal (best exit via the side rear covered exit/entrance). The venue is clean, very spacious, the staff curteous and the food adequate although I thought it was slightly pricy for what it was, average London quality not somewhere to impress anyone.
Zizzi, Swiss Cottage: a quick bite before a meeting - one pizza (Rustica Piccante), one calzone (Carne Piccante) - we both like it hot! Food was fine, and 25% off with their code. Unfortunately, paying the bill took longer than expected, and we ended up chasing our waitress on the way out.
This branch of Zizzis is nicely located within the O2 centre by Finchley Road. I would say the food was average but not as good as some brnches i've been to. The batter on the calamari was too soggy but the squid itself was cooked very well and the ravioli pasta was completely overdone and the filling wasn't very generous. Service was good but not exceptional. Overall, quite average.
Zizzi, Sheldon Sq. Excellent meal, with friendly, attentive service.
Accommodated a table for 15 very well.
First time we've been to a Zizzi and we had a lovely time. The food was excellent, all very fresh and the service was very good, very friendly. I loved the theme of this particular Zizzi restaurant and even the ladies loos were brilliant!!! Well done to this restaurant for switching us onto the Zizzi brand.
Nice meal served efficiently
Zizzi London NW3. Delicious pizzas. good service.
I have eaten at the Zizzi restaurant in Shelton Square, Paddington several times and the standard remains consistantly high. I shall certainly return.
Love the new small dishes where are £12 for 3 and £17 for 5. They are delicious.
An ideal place for a quick meeting over lunch. Service was quick, food was good, prices reasonable.
We were sent a voucher that offered two courses for £10.95 but when we came to pay the bill the total rebate was less than £4 for 4 of us because the courses we selected did not qualify. This was very misleading and made us feel we had been duped. Not a good idea and poor marketting to offer something and not have it of any value.
This is my daughter's favourite restaurant! We love going to Zizzi's!Food always good. Lots of choice.
Had the picantte rustica pizza which the waitress kindly told us was very spicy and too spicy for herself. I appreciated this 'warning' but still ordered it. The pizza was very tasty and i thoroughly enjoyed it. One disappointed aspect was the wide outside ring of dough with no toppings or tomato sauce on.
Food and offer were great. However we waited for half an hour before our orders were taken (not even appetizers). Nevertheless, they made up for it with the food arriving rather quickly.
The food again was good. I have been here quite a few times and it's the food that keeps me coming back. Service was a bit slow though the waiter was very polite. Will definitely come back!
Zizzi in O2 centre is a nice place to stop by for a spot of lunch. There's enough space for privacy & the service is also good. Only downside is that there isnt a whole lot of vegie options.
food was good. service was great. location was really nice along the canal just a shame about the heavy rainfall on that particular day we went.
