Zizzi - Greenwich
Good choice for a family meal out. All ages & tastes catered for.
Me and my partner come here regularly because we live so locally and love the menu, however the Greenwich branch cannot handle it when it is busy and to be honest the service isn't GREAT even when it's not busy, the food is always left on the counter and waiters just walk past and ignore it.
Last week when we visited we had a booking, when we arrived was told by the manager that we didn't have a booking because it wasn't on the system. I showed her the confirmation email but we were still treated as though we were lying. The restaurant was super busy but we were seated upstairs, our waitress was really nice and helpful BUT the food took an hour to come out.
Starter and desserts was really good, I ordered a lamb shank for my main meal however it was cold on both occasions, the first one didnt even look cooked. Waitress really looked after us, would go back but wouldn't order the lamb shank
Disappointed with this restaurant. Service was terribly poor, waitresses completely lost in the venue. Food was good whenever it came.
When we were finishing last drink we were invited to pay the bill and leave as they wanted to close the place.
I would not recommend this restaurant
Disappointingly, despite Zizi being active on OpenTable, the restaurant in Greenwich had no record of our booking and no table was available. Luckily, the team there found a table for us but were not particularly happy given how busy it was. Turns out we were not the only ones with this booking issue via OpenTable app.
Good service by a new girl, the restaurant tables by the window seats could do with some TLC as this has obviously been an amazing restaurant during its time of reopening with the new decor. The food was amazing as always xx
It was all about the view which is amazing.
The food and service were ok. What you would expect. The top terrace and view across the Thames is the reason to go.
Everyone enjoyed their food, we sat outside on the rooftop. Service was pleasant and we were served promptly.
ALWAYS A GOOD MEAL BUT WISH THEY WOULD CHANGE THEIR MENU FOR MORE HEALTHY OPTIONS.... SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND BEING ON THE ROOFTOP EVEN BETTER
Restaurant was filthy and one of the senior members of staff was rude and didn’t seem to want customers there.
Very nice food and welcoming
Treated to birthday pudding and limoncello 😊
Thank you for a lovely evening

Nice setting by the water by dinnicult to take it in. Ambience inside is great for a chain and the food is Italian.... hard to get a pizza or pasta wrong!
Great food and service. We had a great family evening with great food and service. Thank you
The menu is great if you have allergies - I had a vegan gluten free pizza! The menu was extensive.
We visited with a small noisy child and the waitress was great with him and provided crayons etc.
The only down side of the restaurant was that the food service was painfully slow, I can only imagine that the kitchen was understaffed.
If the speed of service improved then it's a great value restaurant with excellent views and reasonable food.
When we arrived our booking wasn't on the list. I showed them the email confirmation and after some discussion they agreed to give us a table outside. Food was lovely. Views fantastic. Service average.
Excellent setting and perfect pizza. Love it here. Would highly recommend for people watching alone !
Good food, excellent service.
Rcommend the Calzone Carne Picante- nice and spicy!
Reasonable wine selection also for a chain restaurant.
I also like the Il Sidro (Cider)
we arrived on time to eat before Gypsy Kings concert but our booking appeared to be lost
a table was found but restaurant was busier than the few staff could cope with. The brushetta was made with tined tomatoes and we were asked what we wanted for desert before our cold main courses arrived. We charged for a bottle of wine we ordered but never arrived. Setting was spoilt by inadequate staff. Concert was good though.
Food was lovely they did a great New Year's Eve menu £25 for 3 courses a glass of bubbly and a shot of lemon liquor after the meal.
great for family dining and the view on the water is fantastic.
Sunday night family dinner. Epic fail to choose Zizzi in Cutty Sark Greenwich. First of all booking via TopTable didn't go through so when we arrived they didn't have our names...oopsy!
Were seated upstairs in cramped room. Nice view - that's all. Our table even didn't have 4 chairs so the waitress had to pull one emergency chair from the outside balcony. Super uncomfortable ice cold metal chair . Rest of us had really weird chairs fit for a fisherman...
So we got menu, kiddies got incomplete kids pack and we were waiting, waiting and waiting [all this while being thirsty and hungry]. After 15mins of being ignored by stuff we just grabbed our coats and left for fab meal at Frankie&Bennies next door.
Shame, good location, bad service..
I ate at 4.45pm and presented a discount voucher I had printed out the wrong one the waitress was very helpful and kind she consulted the manager and we had a very good meal with discount
Great food and service. Many thanks.
A rather small branch conveniently situated for greenwich sightseeing, Thames Clipper, etc. I took my grandchildren for lunch prior to an afternoon pantomime at Greenwich Theatre. It ticks all the boxes for a relatively quick and tasty meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly with young children. The pizzas are ok, inasmuch as they are served fresh. If I really wanted to find fault, I would say the bases should be crispier and I would have liked to see the children's menu include a soft drink as this bumps the price up considerably unless you order tap water! Overall, fine to satisfy little people's appetites.
Good value for New Year's Eve family meal.. Wonderful views of the Thames.
Very friendly staff, good food, good value for money. Would be nice though to have an outdoor area with umbrellas
This Zizzi is opposite the Cutty Sark with beautiful views of the Thames.
My husband and I both ordered a starter followed by a piza but could only make our way through half the pizza but zizzi very kindly gave us a box to take the rest home in.
The restaurant is nice and was quite busy. The service and food are good (though you don't go there for fine dining), it's convenient for a low key dinner or weekend lunch. The plus side is the location: great surroundings facing the Cutty Sark and the Thames, next to Greenwich market and Greenwich Park.
Nice views of River Thames. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Food was good.
After the initial bad start to the afternoon, I was looked after by the assistant manager! food was good and hot unusual place and quaint dining area! Looks out over the Thames so has a lovely view.
I would go back there.
What sets this restaurant apart from other similar pizza/pasta chain restaurants is the views of the Thames; also the service was very good here. This is a very good spot to take a break for lunch whilst visiting Greenwich.
So I went here on Valentines with my husband as i missed another booking at my preferred restaurant. It has 3 floors so I asked to be seated on the top floor as there are view of the river and the cityscape. We has a 3 course valentines menu for £20 which was such good value. The food came out quite quickly and the super-food salad with chicken was amazing!
The ambiance could have been better as it wasn't very romantic. As they were going with a nautical theme the chairs were like nautical directors chairs which were quite low for the table height and not "restaurant" comfy.
But all in all i would go back for Sunday lunch or something but not for a meal out on date night.
I was taken to Zizzi for a second date , it was very busy when we first arrived however once the large party had gone we had a fab night , our food was so lovely and we had the best attentive waitress ever , thank you Zizzi
Great italian restaurant and great food
Unfair to review this restaurant as we were unable to eat here. We booked a table via Toptable and this was confirmed, but when I called the restaurant they were unable to accommodate the booking and therefore we had to dine elsewhere.
After booking a table in advance, when we got there they told us their system was down so didn't receive our booking. So they offered us a table and told us we'd have to leave in an hour as the table was booked for then. Then when the waiter came they also advised us we had to be gone In an hour, rather than take our order.
The waiter was rude and abrupt. The food was okay through and we sat on the top floor with great views over the Thames.
Zizzi overall are great restaurants. This one lets the side down.
Lovely location with great views of Canary Wharf, food was ok, a bit cold but I was so hungry I didn't send it back. It wouldn't stop me going back though as I usually have a good dining experience here.
Great view over the Thames, Canary Wharf and the Cutty Sark, the restaurant is in a lovely location. Interesting nautical decor inside the restaurant.
The food is good value and good, with a good range of choice.
