Zizzi - Liverpool One
Good food good value
With my daughter and her baby, staff seated us were we had plenty of room for pram. Enjoyable lunch
Great reasonably priced food and wonderful service from the staff.
We waited 50 minutes for our starter - garlic bread! Then a further half an hour for our mains. Apparently the chefs were trainees and were getting the order of orders mixed up so customers who arrived after us got served before us. As compensation we did not get charged for the starter and a main but that did not compensate the long wait for food.
Lunch catch up with daughters we all enjoyed it very much
Lack of food available from the main menu. Chicken was obviously frozen and not cooked properly. Very disappointing.
Such a shame. We had a great meal but the service was sooo slow. We had booked a table so were shown to it on arrival but then the wait began. 15 minutes before we got a drink and 40 minutes before we got our starter -after reminding them we were still waiting. Didnt bother asking for another drink or a pudding! Not sure who was at fault - kitchen or servers. People arriving after us were told there was a 30 minute wait for food so presume it was the kitchen. There didnt appear to be anyone in charge to complain to. The "hostess" looked about 16 and very bewildered.
Really nice restaurant lovely food and excellent service
Food was lovely as was the service!
Thoroughly enjoy it here! When we can get a table! Pre theatre food favourite! Always impresses.
plenty of choice, we had garlic bread, pizza, calzone, plenty on your plate, we a family of 3 and with starter main and a drink each came to £52.00.
Zizzi's have really lost their great atmosphere and friendly service staff that was a trademark when it was estbalished.
Food tasted great. Portions were good size. Service was borderline slow, if we had waited for another 5 minutes it would have disappointed.
Needing to eat between Haydock races and a show at the Arena, Liverpool One is ideally located, and Zizzi's is just one of many places available, but always popular with us as you can rely on the service, the food and all at a reasonable price.
Perfect location for pre-show meals at the Arena
I booked a table for myself and my girlfriend through your site, on 13th Feb, for the following evening. I received a confirmation email, and all was good. I then received a phone call the next day telling me that the restaurant was fully booked, leaving me no time to find another restaurant. Either your site or the restaurant is to blame for a valentines day dinner in front of the TV, and I will be reluctant to use either of your services again.
After dining with Zizzi in Lincoln, I booked a table in good faith, looking forward to a meal with my family. Liverpool comes in as a poor second, rushed to our table, very noisy, toilets were dirty, and a few of the starters were cold......
This visit has made me think in our future visits to Liverpool I will dine elsewhere :(
Booked table for half six but got there about 15mins early. This was no problem and we were shown to a table with a view of the shopping mall below. Staff v attentive and helpful and food was v nice. Good range of meat free options which were tasty, generous portions too. Only downside was trying to find the restaurant which is on Paradise Place and a bit hidden but it was a good find.
Zizzis always has good food.you know what you are getting.nothing spectacular but all good quality and with their 25% off food it was a good bargain. I booked for 11 people the night before so was very pleased they could squeeze us in. It is in avert handy position at Liverpool One so lunch was combined with a bit of shopping.
Booked Zizzi through Top Table for lunch on Tuesday 7th August 2012. Not been here before. Lovely food, great service and will return. Zizzi reluctant to accept our Top Table cheque as "we don't accept cheques". However, the manager did take the cheque and said he'd ring Top Table. I left my number and asked them to let me know the outcome. The manager did say that although he would accept the TT cheque, he will not accept any future cheques, so there's no point in us staying members of TOP TABLE. Pity.
Really nice main course, but overpriced for the portion size. Also poor selection of drinks. Was also disappointed by 5 of us being squashed onto a 4 table despite booking well in advance. Also service was average - drinks were ordered but forgotten.
5 of us dined at Zizz, 14 Paradise Street, Liverpool.
Food was excellent and service very good. I felt that it was very good value for money. Good ambience in the restaurant and I would definately recommend it.
Great atmosphere. Food a little overpriced but tasty enough and service was very good
Zizzi Liverpool One was as good as ever, lovely staff and the meal was good value.
Nice ambience, good food, friendly staff
Lively atmosphere, good food, service average due to number of diners present
As always my meal at Zizzi was excellent. Having never visited the branch in Liverpool it was great to see exactly the same level of service - a very enjoyable evening!
Excellent, really enjoyed it. Good food and service.
perfectly pleasant, service and food good up to the mark for a chain restaurant
Foods was great as always. Despite the place being full and lots of people who hadnt booked being turned away or not willing to wait 45mins for food the service was a little slower than it could have been.
Our fault for not booking an earlier slot really.
Me and my girlfriend attended zizzi's at leopald square sheffield, it was excellent food and great service. would definately go back.
The reception was non existent and our waiter was rushing us all of the time. No olives in stock to order :-( The starters were fairly reasonable. Excellent garlic bread with cheese. Very nice pasta dish with seafood. Appalling tomato and mozzarella thin crust 'special' pizza - the only special thing about it was it was like half cooked dough and with hardly any topping - pathetic. Overall, what was good was good but everything else was poor. I would not rush back here!!!!!
An excellent meal at Zizzi Leopold Square Sheffield. I had not eaten there before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent, the service was very good. Grace who served us was helpful and efficient.
The atmosphere was very good and all in all it was an excellent experience.
Zizzi Liverpool-The location is fab and with the wonderful weather, we could have been on holiday. It was lively, busy and good fun.
The food was okay- not fantastci- but okay. The service was fine. I guess when a place is really busy it's difficult to get out plate after plate of really impressive food.
Zizzi in Liverpool is on the top floor of Liverpool One among a raft of restaurants. The whole place is lively and friendly with outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors and had a nice table at the front of the restaurant. Our waitress (from Bristol but in love with Liverpool) was excellent. There was none of the hard sell I have experienced in Zizzi Birmingham so it was relaxed. We intended having the recommended white wine but there was none. The alternative was fine. The food was good.
We found Zizzi to be very disappointing. It was noisy and made worse by the bar staff dropping empty bottles onto empty bottles. There were lots of young children crying and screaming. Service was unattentive and very slow. Food was indifferent. A disappointinge evening out.
Zizzi in Liverpool was great as ever, lovely food and attentive service.
Enjoyed the other night so much we went back with some friends!!!
Thank you to the dtaff. So freindly. Another great evenong!
Such good value with fab food. HARD TO BEAT!!!
Zizzi - Leopold Sq Sheffield. Really pleasant atmosphere and the staff were great. Food was very good quality and with the 2 for £12 deal it was a very affordable meal out.
Great night. Good food served by freindly staff in nice easy going setting.
