Zizzi - Newcastle Metro Centre
We all enjoyed the food, service and buoyant atmosphere
Food was amazing and our host was lovely!
Lovely food, very busy so service was a little slow but worth the wait.
Fantastic food and waiter/waitress service is outstanding, so polite and helpful. Three course set menu was perfect, and our 4 year old felt so special. Well done Zizzi metrocentre 👍🏻
Our waiter Dave did the restaurant proud, so helpful and made us feel so welcome, Thankyou
Attentive and efficient staff. Lovely food and reasonable price.
Might as well have been in McDonald's, no dining experience. Just sat at table...cramped with veryllittle atmosphere. I asked for a nice table on booking. Wouldn't go back.
Really enjoyed trip to Zizzis. Do go here regularly.
I would recommend any Zizzi as the food is always a very high standard and of course you can't not have the garlic bread with mozzarella and caramelised onions... phenomenal! The services was also very friendly, which I always find.
The manager said our booking wasn't recognised because he switch off your service at 11am. My wife found a black hair in the Pitza in the cheese ! A very bad experience overall
Service is always fantastic even when busy. Food is great and the menu has a decent selection. Nice to have a wide choice of soft and alcoholic drinks.
We Always go to Zizzi before the cinema . The food is fab and the waiters are always lovely.
The lady seating people was a little rude although service after this was spot on and the meal lovely.
Love zizis but not at metro centre. .felt like we were eating in a corridor .food very tatie but portions very small and mean with the toppings etc .no special deals were on so very poor value for money. Waiter v good
Tried the new chicken secondi, juicy chicken but served on dry focaccia with a handful of beans covered in rocket. Not as described on fresh focaccia with a green bean rocket and cheese salad. So disappointed perhaps they need to ensure better quality control on the passe. Zizi is very popular with families with young children, you need to ask for a quiet table if you want a quiet lunch.
There's not much more to say really. The food was delicious but the service, although good mannered, was very slow.
We booked a table for 7:30pm but the restaurant had us down for 8pm. Thankfully they had a table for us anyway I don't think I would have waited around if they hadn't.
Had lunch with friends, as always Zizi delivers on the quality of its food. Service is efficient and friendly. We tried the lamb and pork dishes, both were excellent!
Although part of a franchise, Zizi does pride itself on the quality of its food. We all had different courses and had no complaints about any of them. Zizi is a great place to eat in the Metro Centre.
Zizzi is better than the other dining options in The Metro Centre. Food is well cooked and the staff are friendly. It is more expensive, but I think worth the extra.
We turned up early due to a mix up with cinema screening times; but we were still met with a warm friendly welcome. The food was the usual good quality. The service friendly and un rushed. Eating in the Metro Centre will never be a great experience but inside Zizzis you do feel that you are in a restaurant and away from the hustle and bustle. The menu offers good Italian fare, but the prices seem to be creeping upwards. Overall much much better than Pizza Express.
Zizzis never fails to deliver. Excellent food at reasonable prices (made even sweeter with a 25% off voucher form the website). It is, and always will be, our first choice. The service is excellent and always delivered with a smile!
The service by the staff was excellant and the food was nice. We were even told that we qualified for a discounted meal. Something TT didnt.
Zizzi Tower Hill is never very busy in the evening so you often get your food in pretty good time. Last night was an execption unfortunately. We had a great waiter but the food did take a long time. We got a good deal - two mains for £12 and we shared a dessert and starter so with a drink it was still only £15 each but just a shame we had to wait so long!
Zizzi, Metro Centre. Great welcome, we arrived early but our tabel had already been reserved. Restuarant was incredibly busy and maybe short staffed however the service was very good. Garlic bread starter was massive, easily shared between 2-3. Didnt have to wait long for mains. New super salad was lovely, easily swapped the cheese for prawns. Pasta dish lacked spring onins that were on the menu. Rustica pizza great. Easily accepted by one main and get one for £1 voucher.
Zizzi's, Metrocentre, Gateshead.
Booked online and said would be interested in 3 courses for £13.95 but wasn't given the option on arrival, just the normal menu.
Starter was good but the plates hadn't been taken away and we'd been finished all of two minutes when the main course was brought out. Understand they were busy but it didn't give a good impression.
I had lamb shank and my boyfriend chicken wrapped in ham. Very nice.
Mains plates were left on the table for ages after we'd finished.
Zizzi Tower Hill. Fantastic service and lovely food!!
