Zizzi - Portsmouth
everything was great food good and waitress was very nice
Very busy but good quick service. Good value set meal for Fathers Day.
Arrived to find no table had been booked though Opentable
Courteous and friendly service
Prompt delivery of food order
Great tasting pizzas
Reasonable value for money
Will visit again
Service was great, we were celebrating my sons 6th birthday and he treated to a special drink and candles in his ice cream and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to him which he loved, thankyou
They didn't even know we were coming but apart from that it was fantastic
great lunch .grear service .busy even on a thursday lunch time .would book a table
Good food and excellent service in the shadow of the Spinaker Tower.
We love zizzi's. Go there a lot. Only problem we encountered was booking the table with this site. They didn't have it down as a reservation at the restaurant. Luckily I screen shot the confirmation of it. Also we were lucky in the fact there was a spare couple of talbles that people had just left so they put them together for us. Won't book a table with your site again I'm afraid.
Great to have more than one vegan choice on menu. Good service
The staff were fantastic but when we arrived for our reservation at 6 o'clock the staff had no record of it, even though I received an email confirmation. They said they were fully booked but after a little chat they managed to find us a table.
Think there needs to be more communication between OpenTable and zizi
When we arrived at Zizzi in Portsmouth we were told that our booking through opentable.co.uk hadn't come through and we were advised to book directly through Zizzi's website. The man that dealt with us was very abrupt when we asked if we could make our reservation a bit later. We were quickly passed on to someone fortunately more polite and happy to try and accommodate. Although the booking couldn't be altered (they were very busy with fireworks night) they still managed to fit us in despite being fully booked and our orgininal booking not being recognised.
Nice food and great service but was really overcrowded and incredibly noisy. Couldn't have a conversation without shouting
Awaiting to be contacted by the restaurant as I have stated on their website how I feel about my visit
Had to wait a while and work to get attention of waiter for first drinks but once ordered, service was good and couldn't fault the food. Would go again.
The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Really relaxed family lunch.
Can't fault the Restaurent but don't use Open Table
My reservation wasn't received by the Restaurent who told me not to use 3rd party booking systems as they often don't work
So had I turned up at the allotted time with two hungry children under 5, there would have been no table. As it was, we arrived early so there was a table. Not using Open table again
Just simply the only real choice in Gunwharf quays.
The best food by far.😄
The best restaurant in gunwharf quays for great food and great customer Service
The food and the service made up for the poor start.........on arrival at a very busy (Fathers Day) lunch service we were dismayed to find that , despite the confirmation email etc , there was no record of our reservation on the 'clipboard'. The waiter who greeted us went to his supervisor and then allocated us a table...nice day though it was, we were pleased that we were seated indoors. One for the Open Table system?
Massive pizza and the chicken on the skewers awesome. The Italian home brand blonde lager was very nice to.
Fantastic staff , fantastic food but reserved with open table app , and the app gives you points for booking that you can build up and use to get a free meal at some time.
Zi zi did not know any info on this so did not get the points which is the only reason we used open table.
If zi zi are putting there name to this app they should know how it works , which they did not
Would never use open table again. Restaurant had no record of our booking and couldn't squeeze us in. When I complained to them I got no real response. Disappointing.
Ok food and drinks.
sadly it was to much noise.
I took a group of colleagues to Zizzi's in Gunwharf Quays. Service was efficient, food quality was good and I would recommend it for work outings.
had a lovely meal meeting friends and family - meal excellent - service brilliant - drinks a bit expensive.
Ate at the Zizzi at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. The group was three adults and a toddler. Service seemed a little indifferent but food was good and served pretty quickly.
I have been to lots of different Zizzi's in various different areas of the country. This was the best. The food was really fresh, hot and tasty.
We visited the Seaport Restaurant, London on Fri 16 March '12. As soon as we walked in, we were attended to immediately & received good service throughout our whole meal. My aubergine & scallop starter was beautiful, as was my husband's calamari. My main course of red snapper was also delicious, although a little boney in one fillet. My husband had a similar fish off the specials board (the name escapes me) but he said it was really tasty. I'd highly recommend the Seaport to anyone.
Went with family, great for children. Good food.
I like zizi for a quick dinner out but it is never fantastic of course. At this place the view is nice.
A warm welcome and lovely environment with excellent food and although they were very busy we were not made to feel rushed. Our waitress was very friendly and approachable which contributed to a very enjoyable evening.
Zizzi was a nice place on the seaside of portsmouth. Nice coffe and tiramisu. The only minus is there are no vegetarian options and my friend had to eat pizza...
The food was very good, especially the garlic bread. Presentation is also of a good standard. The service was friendly and good although rather on the slow side. The restaurant was not overly busy and I would have expected the service to have been faster than it was. The food is good value and the menu has a wide range of choices which should cater to almost everyone's tastes. Gluten Free pasta is available and the staff seem to be efficient at remembering personal preferences, ie ice etc.
food was great and the survice to
Zizzi Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth.
Service was a bit slow and look a bit confused when we arrived but it did improve afterwards.
Pizza Calzon from the special menu was really great. One of the best pizzas we had for some time, crispy thin dough and good amount of filling.
Zizzi have very attentive staff. Food took quite a while to arrive but we were kept informed. Good value.
Zizzi in Portsmouth has given me something to remember, what an experience. Can't wait to go again
