Zizzi - South Woodford
Nice lunch with my wife. Everything tasted great, especially the desserts! Recommend the Brownie filled with salted caramel and the Golden honeycomb cheesecake (summer menu only) 👌🏾😋
Friendly staff. Very accommodating to families with small children. Would've given 5 stars but service was a bit slow on this occasion.
Could have put more than 3 grams of chicken (three tiny strips) on my pizza and I expect a good half shot of espresso with my affogato. Clearly this particular restaurant is under a bit of GP % pressure
Great food great atmosphere
They didn’t receive our booking so made us up a table when we arrived. The service was not great it was very slow and some of the staff were rude. Despite that the food was quite good.
Great food and nice atmosphere. New menu is also very good.
Great service! Food tasted good and well presented.
We went to Zizzy's for the first time after a friend gave us a voucher. We found the restaurant to be friedly despite being busy and the service was excellent. We will definitely visit again with our family as the restaurant appeared to us family focussed.
Was ok, not amazing. Service slow, restaurant was noisy.
The slowest service I've ever experienced. I went on a Sunday and even though it wasn't busy, the wait for food was ridiculous. The chef had to come out at one point and shout at the waiting staff to take food out to waiting customers. Even though service was terrible, the food was nice. I had a 40% off voucher for food, and after this experience, I'm glad I had it. Sort out the service and this could be a great Zizzi branch.
Slow service which was an issue with two young kids. Food ok.
We arrived at the restaurant only to find that our online booking hadn't been passed on to Zizzi so we had to wait in the queue with the other non bookers. I showed them my email but we still had to wait for a table. Won't book online again.
Loved the food and staff were friendly but service was a bit slow.
We enjoyed delicious food served by friendly, helpful staff. The ambience was relaxed and the meal was excellent value.
They said their pizzas were delicious and they liked the icecreams too. Also good choices for those of us who aren't mad about either pizza or pasta. Slightly expensive for what was for us essentially a kids' treat but much more pleasant than the usual kids' treat.
Typical food and poor service but overall food was ok.
we were taking my parents out for a mid week meal and loved this place. Great service and tasty food. Normally do not go to chain restaurants but this one was really lovely. Would definitely recommend.
Zizzi has been there for a few years but we only recently ate there after discovering Zizzi in Falmouth. Food is very good, fairly simple and reasonably priced. Waiting for the waiter to process the bill was the only downside, it took about 10 minutes between getting the bill and actually typing in the pin! Small gripe, worth trying though.
Visited Zizzi South Woodford on Sunday evening after cinema. Not too busy, and nice and cool on a warm evening. Attentive and prompt service. Good staple pasta dishes, and excellent fresh bread. Pinot Grigio very chilled and refreshing. Good value. Recommended.
Have been before. Acceptable dining.
We ordered 2 calzones. After a very lengthy wait, both were burnt. When this was mentioned to the waiter he was indifferent, we asked if he would tell the chef. This he refused to do. There was no apology. The underside of one calzone was so hard it was impossible to cut. This is a popular restaurant which we often visit. Unfortunately the service is now so variable that the other restaurants in the area are better bets for consistently good meals and service.
Been here a few times now and the service level is always very high.Attentive staff, friendly, polite and good value for money
Busy and popular venue so not best for a quiet romantic meal or business meal. Good value and choice. Can be rather noisy when busy so bear that in mind.
Supreb food, service & ambiance.
Brilliant service and lovely food. good value too
Amazing as usual. Great food and service.
Zizzi South Woodford .I love Zizzi, they have really delicious filling dishes at reasonable prices. I had the chicken with Parma Ham and it was outstanding,. The service was good, ambience optimal and we were left extremely satisfied. I love the fact the kitchen is next to the restaurant so you can see them cooking. the staff are always quick and friendly. We will always go back as it is a quality restaurant with an excellent selection of dishes which is great value. You can't go wrong here.
Well they had a problem with their toilets so did not get to eat there! However they called me in advance to let me know so I was very impressed and they were very apologetic and offered an alternative location to go to and travel directions to get there.
Extremely busy on a Sat night, people being turned away. Typical Zizzi, same menu, average in all respects.
Booked a large party of 14 for a Saturday evening at Zizzi's at Cardinal Walk, Victoria London. Had a large enough table, with plenty of room to move. Staff really polite and helpful but not pushy. Our waiter was very accomodating and his relaxed service made it a very enjoyable evening. Food was freash and delicious. Location ideal for quick meal before going to theatre or even if long delays for trains! Would certainly go back.
Zizzi - Victoria
Always a welcoming atmosphere, quite busy even at 5pm, pleased I had booked through Top Table.
Seated and was able to use the Taste Card 2/1, even more of a bonus!.
We originally ordered courgette fritters (which had previously been a starter - but now a side order..) so had to change to bruschetta plum tomatoes and red onion - fab and sweet with garlic bread with dip - one of the best starters.
Both of us ordered Penne with vodka and chilli, only complaint three prawns!!
Zizzi, Wanstead (but it is in South Woodford) for lunch. Mothers' Day, so busy, but still good service. Food was good. One of our party with special diet requirements was accommodated specially well. Happy to recommend.
Zizzi's in South Woodford was very pleasant and the food was very nice as usual. However, they could invest in larger tables as it was very difficult trying to keep everything on a table that would've been better for 2 people not the 4 of us that went.
I was there with some friends on Sunday 11/03/12. The meal was going well but we were brought an extra Tiramissu we hadn't asked for. We all thought it was for one of us that was chatting and not putting much attention. Then a couple of us decided to take a spoon and try it out. Suddently the waiter came back claiming it for another table but we had already tasted it. He left it behind, so we finished it. We then got charged for it. We decided to exclude it from the tip we would have given...
Zizzi - Wanstead, located in South Woodford, is handy for cinema, and is able to get you fed and out in time! Food is tasty and reasonably priced.
Zizzi Wanstead! Except it's in south Woodford! I'm getting to be a regular now. Service is fast and efficient, but also warm and helpful. Food is good and it caters for gluten free too. This is good to know.
first time at Zizzi s wanstead (although it really south woodford)
Had very enjoyable evening and found this to be better value than most multiples/mock italian restaurants.
We enjoyed our meal at Zizzi Wanstead (which confusingly is located in South Woodford). Service was efficient and friendly. The food was nice.
As ever, good food and service :)
Zizzi wanstead (south woodford)
Consistently good food, reasonable price, great service.
It was my first time eating at Zizzi St James and I'm happy to say they took note of my booking request to be sat at a quiet table as my dining companion is hard of hearing and doesn't cope with a lot of background noise. The menu was varied and the starter of garlic bread and cheese was a huge portion - big enough for two to share. We both had the Lasagne as a main course and it was tasty and plentiful. The service was good and overall it was a very pleasant dining experience.
