Zizzi - Wokingham
Very impressed with this restaurant
Went for a family meal, food was good although choice of starters is a bit limited but this is normal in an Italian franchise, house wine was very good.
We didn't feel rushed or left to wait the service was good with all meals arriving together.
Great food, great service, good venue for a family supper
The gluten free pasta with tomato sauce was very good! Good value for money!
Nice restaurant with good food. Staff were pleasant and helpful, but made a few errors and sometimes took ages to bring things to the table. Not as slick as it could have been.
Good service. Had a gluten free pizza base which was a great substitute. Enjoyed the visit.
We always have a excellent meal with good service can't fault the Wokingham branch
I have been to Zizzis many times, and I will still go again even though it was very poor this time.
It was very busy for a Monday night, and the chef couldn't cope on his own. The food took ages to come, and when it finally did the pizzas ( 3 of the 5 main courses) had a meagre amount of topping on them and were also undercooked. The staff did offer to cook it all again, but it was after 9.00pm by now and my 2 boys had School the next day. So we declined. Staff were great, and the chef accepted he was trying to rush to catch up as he was way behind. Stopped at Tescos on the way home as my sons pizza was inedible and he was hungry.
Nice place to take our grandchildren for early dinner.
But expensive for what we had as I d forgotten the 25% voucher.
£2.50 for a glass of apple juice for the children was, I thought, expensive too.
Great food, great atmosphere - on the busy/noisy side, but that's ideal when you have small children with you - and very child-friendly. Service a little slow but they were obviously rushed off their feet!
Opentable didn't work & my booking didn't
Go to Zizzi's in Wokingham!!! Will NOT USE this booking facility again!!!
Apart from the fact that our reservation (via Open Table) was apparently "not on the booking list for tonight, and we are fully booked", they managed to seat us straight away.
Food was ordered and delivered in a good time frame, staff were pleasant and we were not kept waiting. The host apologised again when we left after the meal for not having the booking.
Emailed Open Table about the "missing" booking and they advised the booking was in the system so not sure what went wrong. I would eat there again.
Visited Zizzi's in Wokingham on a hot summer's day - we didn't fancy cooking and this was a frequent local spot. Ambience is so and so.. nothing fancy but a pleasant surrounding and décor. We both opted for pizza's which didn't disappoint. Cooked in what seemed to be a stone-baked oven... so lovely and crisp and the toppings beautifully fresh. All menu options are very reasonably priced and the updated menu did not disappoint. A great place to pop in for a meal. Can get quite busy, and any larger group parties can on occasion create a louder than usual amount of noise - but all in the spirit of light Italian style dining. Will definitely pop in again!
The new menu choices are very good and the standard if food is excellent and well presented.
Nice pizza restaurant, good menu, but with full house the kitchen can't make it. To long to deliver and can't give the quality of a 60% seats. The special pizzas came with to match chilly. We know they can make better.
I had a lovely meal with a friend to celebrate my Birthday. There was a relaxed atmosphere, the food was hot and tasty. The wine was reasonably priced and chilled to perfection. I enjoyed the dessert and the coffee was hot and was served with hot milk which was a lovely touch. The staff are helpful and friendly. The only slight criticism I have is the noise level due to hard surfaces on the walls and floor. 9/10 rating.
Although most tables were for more than two, ours was centrally placed, rather than preferred by a window or wall. It still had lots of atmosphere and the noise from the other diners was bearable.
The food was well cooked and served and we enjoyed the whole experience.
The chocolate mousse could have been lighter.
Really lovely evening and the young man who waited at our table was absolutely lovely. We will go againl
I can always rely Zizzi's Wokingham to be the perfect meeting place to see my friend. The food is excellent, the service and the adaptability of the chefs to provided the vegetarian options I ask for. The restaurant is modern, clean and well presented.
Not quite sure you will enjoy this review let alone publish it, we were let down very badly by you and the restaurant, phoned at 17.45 for a 19.30 booking to say I did not have a table reserved as the booking service was informed that the restaurant was full. Following half an hour of calling various restaurant we eventually found another restaurant for my visitors who had travelled down from Staffordshire. Will I use the service again obviously NO!!! will I recommend it to someone else NO!!
Well placed restaurant with car parking some 5 minutes walk away. Food superb with a good choice, although somewhat pricey, but I guess fish dishes are. Bill for 2 with medium glass of wine £40 and that included a 25% off voucher.
Would let it put me off though. Good service although a bit of a wait for main course - waiter very attentive and professional.
As part of a huge chain you know what you're getting, with good food well presented by nice staff.
We were a group of 5, with 2 very fussy eaters, but as its a chain we knew what to expect and all managed to find something we enjoyed. It was a Saturday night so quite busy, but the service was excellent.
The food was good, service was excellent - quick and friendly, even though the restaurant was heavingly busy.
Need to book for Friday and Saturday night, although the manager said lunchtimes are less busy.
Excellent food and good service
Amazingly busy for a Tuesday night, though probably everyone had the same idea with their 25% off Voucher. Food was fine and tasty, along with the service being adequate. All in all what you see is what you get for the money paid. Definitely would go back again.
Great place - very friendly as always and welcoming. Food was good but Ewa and Mariusz were fantastic. Our favourite servers :-)
Excellent - a firm favourite and the staff are always so welcoming
Great food, simply served in a nice atmosphere, only marginly spoilt by the inattentive staff giving slow service.
Good food, nice atmosphere, attentive service.
Good atmosphere and food exceeded my expectations. Gnocchi was divine.
Lovely setting and the service was good but the food was flavourless. The calamari was bland and soggy. The only bit of flavour in any meal that we ordered was in the chillies on a pizza. I dont usually eat chillies but i ate them just to taste something. Very disappointed.
Zizzi St Andrews Good food at a fair price
Overall Zizzi Wokingham was a good experience, offering good food, value and service on this visit, an improvement from a previous occasion.
Lovely meal. Great atmosphere. Loved my CalzonPizza - a morphed version of a pizza and a calzone half and half. My wife loved her creamy pasta with chicken dish - spot-on according to her.
Lovely food and good service.
Had a fantastic evening at Zizzi's, Wokingham! Great food and service, as always!
Zizzi's in St. Andrews was great. Our server, Eva, was delightful and very attentive. But most importantly, the food and wine were fantastic. Would definitely visit again!
One of many Italian restaurants in Wokingham. Good food and service. Reccomended.
Zizzi, St.Andrews, Scotland
Good, buzzy atmosphere and friendly straff.
Great choice of menu.
Starters were excellent, but pizzas not quite as good as Pizza Express (needed a thinner base and more topping)
