Zuma Japanese Restaurant - Miami
zuma, located in the heart of downtown miami, brings chef rainer becker’s internationally acclaimed style of modern japanese cuisine to America. already renowned in london, hong kong, istanbul, and dubai, zuma miami offers a sophisticated cuisine philosophy of flavorsome, modern Japanese dishes in a fun and vibrant environment inspired by the informal dining style called izakaya.
the menu is comprehensive and alluring. dishes are authentic but not traditional with bold, intense flavors and an emphasis on simple presentation acquired through quality ingredients. izakaya style means that dishes are designed to be shared at the table.
Nothing compared to Zuma London or Dubai. Atmosphere and crowd aren’t the best of Miami!
The food was amazing. We ordered two premium. You cannot go wrong with it.
Excellent. Recommend the tasting menu. Absolutely fabulous service and great food. Not a budget friendly experience but definitely worth it.
I have been to Zuma many times in the past, but its been about one year after my last visit. I must say that I was a bit disappointed, as it seems to me that this once outstanding restaurant is losing its stars.
An outstanding experience. Amazing food and attentive (and kind) servers. I’ll be back.
After eating here many times, this was the first time that the quality and presentation of the food was disappointing. Not sure if I would try it again in the future.
OUTSTANDING AS USUAL.
Love the business mans lunch
Had dinner at the sushi bar it was awesome
The food was amazing as always, however I personally think that the interior could use a bit of updating.
Food was good but good is not what I expect when paying this much. It‘s nothing special and is to expensive. Service and ambience was great.
Fantastic in every aspect! I super recommend it.
This is located in TheEpic hotel. Been here several times and it never disappoints. The food is always great and always with a different spin on a variety of flavors. The wine is excellent and the service is impeccable. Expect to pay for what you get here.
Worth the trip! Really cool location with luxury yachts right outside. We love Zuma!
A fabulous experience but pricey. A good special occasion/ celebration spot but not for everyday dining. Great vibe, lovely setting, wonderful flavors and presentation, and good service. The plates/ portions are somewhat small so you can easily maintain your slender waistline- lol. They automatically tack on an 18% gratuity. The server politely lets you know that he shares that gratuity with others- " in case you'd like to add an additional amount just for him" ;-)
Made a reservation and when I got there they sat us in the bar lounge area. It was very busy so we didn’t ask to be moved but then they sat parties with small children, babies and big parties in an area that wasn’t really big enough and was more loungy. It differently changed the atmosphere and mood of a night out. This is t really a family style restaurant and they should have sat them in the main dining room.
Food was spectacularly delicious and it's highly recommended
They resting on their past laurels.
Food was terrible.
Robata was not a real BBQ.
Makato in Bal Harbour is a much better option for Asian fusion food.
After some seating snafus which were quickly resolved, we were seated at a table in the bar area with water views. Our waiter Ray was superb. He had a real passion for his job and knowledge of the menu. I was leaning towards the Omakasa menu and he advised we choose the mid level tasting menu. It did not disappoint!!! We are foodies from NYC and have done chef tastings by chefs Nobu and Morimoto amongst others. This was better. Highlights included pork belly, scallop, cod, steak and sweet corn. Sushi Sashimi was fresh and excellent. The BFT was delicious and every dish had beautiful presentation. It was my Bday and an extra course of grilled lobster tail was “gifted”. It was amazing. Desert course was a plate of fruits, sorbets, molten lava cake, custard .... also amazing. Dinner for two, drinks, tax gratuity was $500. Believe it or not, for the quality and quantity, it was a great value. Great job Zuma !!
Small, uncomfortable table, shoved into a crowded area. Loud, noisy, overpriced for the experience. Portion size is very small.
Great experience and service! Made my anniversary memorable.
Excellent spot. Amazing service and great food. All the plates came out on time and with a great quality.
enjoyed it very much. sound/music level perfect and staff attentive. We just ended up paying for an extra entrée because server got confused as three of us and got four entrees; one of us had changed his mind and ordered shrimp but all three of us still got our original Sea Bass as well. so check was larger than expected.
Zuma has become my favorite restaurant in Miami! We always get something different and each dish exceeds expectations!! I am convinced there is not a bad dish on the menu.
everything as expected. Fantastic.
Our favorite restaurant in Miami.
I went for business and with reservation they made me wait a long time.
Service was really slow I had to ask the server several times what was going on that the food was taking so long.
Great experience and excellent food. Plenty to choose for vegetarians!
The brunch is impressive one of the best if not the best in Japanese food
Service was amazing and food was impeccable! 10/10
Outstanding food quality. One of the best ever in the world.
Wait staff needs to be better trained in greeting guests, asking how all is, etc
They keep us waiting 30 minutes before they give us the table.
Great food, excellent service from the staff. However they served 5 dishes at the same time, which was overwhelming. The noise level is very high in a densely packed area. I love going to Zuma and will return
food was wonderful, but some portions real small with no side dishes, and sides can be small as well, but overall nice experience
Been here a lot of times for Dinner, I wasn't impressed by the brunch. If you don't drink champagne, it's kind of expensive for a brunch. The additional items (not included in brunch price) like the rib eye, were not as good as the dinner one.
As always the food and service are exceptional. Music is always very cool too. For those not liking the music to high, think twice. The combination of the different spices and ingredients they use, create a phenomenal gastronomical experience.
I love it!
Food was okay. Not all that was hyped up to be.
one more time our table was placed in a very bad spot, next to the kitchen and staff
