Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Tranent

Lovely Food and great service from the lovely young ladies

My absolute go-to for a quick catch up with friends. Great service, lovely atmosphere and delicious drinks (we didn't eat on this occasion, but know from previous experience that the scones are amazing!) They've closed half of the premises but there's still plenty of space for people, but I would recommend booking in advance

Connell was amazing! He was so informative! He knew so much history on Scotland! And then we discussed the various Scotches and how they are made in both Ireland and Scotland. We loved him and hope to see him again. The tea service was very nice. Food was good and presentation was nice. We opted for Prosecco and beer rather than tea. We do recommend this service.

It was very quiet when we had hour booking, only 3 tables being served, we felt as we were being rushed out the door. We would have had 3 courses and a drink in less than 30 minutes. We asked the waiter/host to give us 10 minutes between courses and he was happy to oblige as we wanted to enjoy the food and chat at the table. The food was lovely, really tasty, well presented and proportion sizes were great.
