Best Californian Restaurants in Turlock

This was our first time dining here, but definitely will not be our last. The entire experience was beautiful. The atmosphere and ambiance were exquisite, the service was top notch and the food and drinks were delicious!

We love Garre Winery Cafe! It's in such a bucolic setting and the interior is decorated beautifully. It was a bit too hot to sit outside, but they have a wonderful patio; it'll be great as the cooler fall weather arrives along with the vineyards turning to red and gold. It's always very busy even mid-week so reservations are highly recommended. The food is always top notch, the service impeccable. This day I had the pear & gorgonzola flatbread; I thought the dish needed more gorgonzola as there are many competing flavors with the toppings, all good of course. I added a cup of their tomato soup which I already know I crave. The fried olive appetizer is always a hit, especially dipped in their aioli sauce. My friend had Nonna's meatballs and was very pleased with her dish; she's Italian but she says somehow, she didn't inherit the meatball-making gene...lol. We love the setting, food and service and will continue to go back again & again.

I just celebrated my birthday with my family ranging from toddler through age 60. We all enjoyed a great dinner . I love the flaming cheese.
