Lunch to today for my wife and I was outstanding. The best roast dinner around. The roast shoulder of lamb was absolutely delicious. The pick of the bunch, but everything about today was wonderful. Can’t wait to take guests back.

What a restaurant! The venue and gardens are top draw. We sat in the garden in the shade on a very hot day. There was no other noise than wildlife. We chose plaice and stone bass and both were exquisite. We had some bread and olives to start us off and the butter was like a delicious cloud! For dessert we had Almond ice cream and raspberry sorbet and both were refreshing. The selection of wines especially English was second to none with local vineyards throughout. We went with Hindleap which is fantastic. Service was great. Attentive and available throughout. I would highly recommend and will certainly be going back.
