Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Vancouver

Wonderful dinner with my visiting parents. Food was incredible and service was warm and welcoming. Adrien and Jeff were particularly lovely! Great wine and cocktail selection as well. Thanks everyone!

Such a delightful and delicious dining experience!!! We didn't know there was another great hole in the wall Italian left but Mama Mia is probably one of the BEST we have been to. Huge variety of options, lots of vegetarian options as well as meat eaters options. Very short wait time with reservation and the price was affordable for what we ordered. The waitress was a gem, very sweet and attentive. Parking lot right across the street - and lovely atmosphere!!! Would highly recommend as one of the best Italian restaurants here in Portland in the $150 ish price range (that came with two entrees, four alcoholic drinks, and an order of garlic bread AND tiramisu)!! This place was fabulous!!! :-) Great atmosphere for date night or a family night. Yes yes yes!!

The food is just so good. The coccoli bread is an absolute must have. Mommas carrots are delicious!!! I always order the wild mushroom ravioli because it’s just amazing! My husband orders Uncle Vittorios Rib Ragu and we both love that dish too!!! We love CIBO and highly recommend going!! Enjoy!

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was wonderful from the moment we opened the door. The food was delicious. We enjoyed each course—from the popovers, peas, pastas, to the granitas and dessert. The strawberry cake was the best cake my wife has ever had 😀! We enjoyed the 70s decor and music as it transported us back to fond memories of more peaceful times. We don’t dine out often, but what makes Don’s standout is culinary skill and attention to detail combined with passion to make each customer feel special. We are grateful to Don’s for making our wedding anniversary an Ichi-go ichi-e experience! 😀❤️🙏

Zack took excellent care of us. The restaurant was very cozy when more people arrive and the sun set.
