Best Creole Restaurants in Covington, New Orleans / Louisiana

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our servers, Shelby and Kani. From the moment we sat down, they were attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Both went out of their way to offer thoughtful menu suggestions that really elevated our meal, and their care for our experience never wavered throughout the evening. It's rare to encounter a serving team that works so seamlessly together while also making each guest feel so personally looked after. Shelby and Kani truly went above and beyond, and because of them, we left with smiles on our faces. We will absolutely be back — and we'll be hoping to sit in their section again!

Great spot! Food and drinks are very reasonably priced and delicious! Have taken several groups there and everyone loves it. Hope Delacroix is around for a while!

First the service was fantastic. We had a lovely waitress named Yula who was attentive and charming. The atmosphere is welcoming and not too noisy considering the size. Each dish was different and had its own unique flavor palette. I had the BBQ shrimp and was advised ahead of time that it was with heads and tails and unpeeled. That being said, it was so worth it and delicious and different. Everyone in our party of 6 was pleased with their meals. Will definitely return next time I’m in NoLo.

The house made warm bread dipped in gumbo while live piano played…. I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
