Best English Restaurants in Hunstanton

Visited today for a late Sunday lunch with my hubby. Everything from start to finish was superb. We had requested a table which we were given, the service was excellent, the choices on the menu varied and using seasonal produce. We had two starters of whipped goats cheese with baked fog and walnuts - divine- and crispy duck salad which was beautifully presented and a real winner. We followed with two roast beef dinners. This had to be the tastiest Sunday roast we have had in a long time. Sirloin beef joint cooked pink and plenty of it. The most amazing Yorkshire and a lovely selection of vegetables. The gravy was plentiful and tasty. I couldn’t finish the plate good value for money and the best roast we have had by far in a long time. Service and atmosphere makes a meal in our experience and we were made to feel very welcome and cared for. Don’t miss this gem in Cromer!

Very nice food all round, steak was cooked to perfection.

Stopped off at the Sugar Beat for breakfast. Fantastic breakfast - great size for good price, good quality sausages and bacon, lots of beans. Real plateful of good quality food. Good services and location. Must visit again.

A fabulous experience. The tasting menu was devine from start to finish. The waiting staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The matching wine flight was excellent and delivered by the most enthusiastic sommelier. It was a special occasion too for us and thank you for our gift. All in all a really memorable evening.

Fantastic restaurant and well worth a visit. The food was lush and the service was great, we'll definitely be returning!
