Every bite is packed with flavor—some intense, like the pickled herring open-faced sandwich, and some mild, like the meatball plate. The menu isn’t huge, but I was told they make almost everything from scratch, and it really shows. They know the kitchen and the cuisine inside and out, and every bite is perfection. On top of that, it’s affordable, and the service is both genuine and excellent.
