Had a wonderful anniversary dinner seated in one of the booths. Sarah was our waitress (who has waited on us before) and she took great care of us and made the evening special. We started with the caesars salad, asked for it chopped and split. I had mushroom risotto and added grilled shrimp. My husband had fillet steak pom frites. Both were great.

We LOVE Metro Lafayette. The best oysters and tuna tartare. The most attentive staff. Kid friendly. Fresh air patio in the back and a parking lot that makes this such an easy yes compared to trying to find a spot for other restaurants along Mt Diablo Blvd. Cat, the manager, has high standards and a warm heart. Our favorite family spot.

We had our anniversary dinner here. Each experience was outstanding from our welcome at the reception, early dinner cocktails at the bar, great drinks superbly mixed, warm friendly staff, great team work, and then the meal which was beyond exceptional! Each course better than the last. The managers are very careful not to be intrusive, yet careful to insure that each party of the dining experience is exceptionally. We have lived in San Francisco for 30 years, and this may have been our best dining experience. Kudos to everyone! Frannie Roche and Michael Mitrani.

The service was impeccable without ever feeling formal or distant; we felt genuinely welcomed and incredibly well taken care of from beginning to end. When you choose a restaurant for such an important family celebration, you hope the evening will feel special. Commis gave us exactly that—and more.
