    We had an excellent experience at l’abeille à côté. The food was delicious, particularly the Smoked Hamachi Pastrami, Mitsu's Miso Black Cod, and the cozy Honeycrisp Apple Pie with a velvety Winter Black Truffle Ice Cream. The thick slices of hamachi pastrami were soft and packed with flavor, and paired well with the refreshing, crispy kohlrabi. The black cod was melt-in-the-mouth tender, and the acidity of the sauce, combined with the smoky flavor of the charred edamame, really shone. The Crispy Harumaki was also yummy; the golden crispy exterior and a plump, meaty shrimp inside made for a fun snack. The wonderful staff made the evening even more memorable. The service is attentive, warm, and impressively knowledgeable. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind and welcoming. We were surprised by two extra desserts; the delicious bittersweet matcha tiramisu was rich and comforting. The charming "treasure box" that sealed the meal (three types of miniature desserts) was precious and left us smiling. We are so grateful for this delightful evening and are looking forward to visiting again. Thank you!
