From the appetizers to the amazing entrees to every bite of the 3 desserts we ordered everything was so good we wanted to go back the next night. The seafood linguine , the fillet special, the gnocchi , the truffle pizza, we will not forget this meal.

Absolutely incredible. Every staff member went above and beyond for us! The owners are lovely! The food, drinks and desserts were incredible. This is a must stop dinner destination. We had the pleasure of dining outside. We can not recommend Chez Noir enough!

Great wine list. We all shared an eggplant appetizer, which was very tasty. Hubby and I split an arugula salad, which was huge, very generous portion! We had pasta entrées, and I was delighted to find that they were able to offer me gluten-free pasta, which was very nice and we enjoyed it. The service was excellent the prices were a little on the high side. All in all nice evening.

We having been enjoying Le Souffle since the second week it open, back in 2020 during the Pandemic. It is one of Carmel's hidden gems - and actually the best restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula! It is only open for lunch on weekdays, but the lunch is always spectacular - souffles! So hard to make, except here where they come to the table rising three, even four inches, above the rim of the dish and you just gasp! Last week, I began with a watermelon salad, followed by the fruit du mer souffle (the sauce was mostly lobster) and a chocolate souffle for dessert. My husband had a grilled nectarine salad, the seafood souffle and a raspberry souffle for dessert. The menu changes seasonally, but this is a souffle restaurant -- elusive to find, and even when you do, hard to find done well - where the texture is airy, but the flavors intense. The restaurant itself is a delight, service by its owner, Lisa, welcoming and charming.
