Best French Restaurants in Sublimity

We went here for our anniversary and set a reservation for right at 5pm when they open. We got to pick our table which was nice. Its very cozy and cute. The tables are close together so keep that in mind if you're wanting privacy. The place filled up shortly after we ordered so it got a bit louder but not too bad. You can tell its a popular spot. The service was prompt and friendly. We got the fromage charcuterie and there was so much yumminess, I feel like it would be enough for a group of 4 or 5. We didn't realize they were waiting on us to tell them we were ready for the entrees so if you're waiting a while, that may be why....! I got the cassoulet and my husband got the burger. I honestly thought the cassoulet would be a small little pot or bowl NOPE - it was a decent sized skillet and I barely made a dent. My husband finished the burger, he loved it and said the fries were amazing. We took the rest home, happily! We got the basque cheesecake and a single profiterole (so happy they offered just one as that was enough for me). Everything was delicious, the staff was helpful and sweet. We really enjoyed ourselves. I'm sure we'll be back for brunch or lunch.

Tavern on Kruse is such a gem ! Excellent food , service and ambience. Always a great experience.

So much better than your typical hotel restaurant. The food rivaled many of my fine dining experiences . The salad was delicious and unique, and my Ragu beef pasta was fabulous. Highly recommend.
