We had an excellent dinner at Brothers restaurant on our last night in Munich. The food was very good. Its says something about the service that that was the most memorable part of the meal. The atmosphere and ambiance at Brothers is excellent. It is quiet but relaxed. Everyone is having conversations but at no point does it feel noisy and the playlist selection is great. The service is the stand out here. They keep a solid pace, but at no point do you feel rushed. This was excellent in my opinion, as I am tired of tasting menus taking three hours for really no reason. The "Brothers" are working the front of house, are extremely knowledgeable about everything they serve, and have a fine attention to detail. The river trout is a special standout. If you want a memorable, relaxed, engaging evening with high quality, creative food, this would be my recommendation in Munich.

Food was nicely curated and prepared. Service in particular was wonderful - very engaging and friendly staff- making what would be a good experience into a great overall experience. It is a no alcohol day for me, so didn’t review their selection to comment:-)

We had a wonderful and very enjoyable evening at Alois. The menu gave us the opportunity to try flavours and combinations that were new to us, while still feeling very well balanced. Coming from a Korean background, I particularly appreciated the use of kimchi. What impressed me was not simply its presence in the dish, but the understanding of fermentation behind it. It felt thoughtfully incorporated rather than used just for novelty, which I really appreciated. One of the biggest surprises for me was the veal liver. Initially I thought it might be a little too much for my taste, but it turned out to be one of the most interesting dishes of the evening, especially because of the fantastic sauce. The duck was also beautifully cooked, with an excellent texture and doneness. The German wine recommendation was another highlight. We trusted the recommendation and were very happy we did—it paired beautifully with the meal and introduced us to something new. The service throughout the evening was warm and attentive, and the additional birthday cake was a very thoughtful touch that made the occasion even more special. A memorable dinner with some genuinely interesting flavours. We left very happy and would definitely like to return and experience another menu in the future.

Our diner experience was absolutely perfect! I’d highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful and elegant, the food is delicious, and the presentation of the plates is astonishing. And the service is one of the best I’ve ever experienced (I’m used to fine dining service, and this service and the entire staff were outstanding). It’s totally worth the trip from Mexico City to Munich. Also, each dish tells a different story from the Chef, which is a very personal experience.

We love this restaurant. The owner is a Gem, the service top and the atmosphere is so cozy. The food is always on point. Outdoors is as lovely as indoors! So it’s perfect for all seasons.
