We arrived at the end of lunch but they were gracious enough to let us order. The waiter helped me out with my lemonade order faux pas and treated us to a delectable dessert on the house! We’d definitely visit again should we be near Portovenere!

Our beach day might have been ruined by the weather but our lunch here at Alpemere was excellent. It wasn't crowded which was great. The service was fantastic and all had a big smile. The drinks were fantastic and the food was fabulous. My wife had turbo fillet and I have pasta with clams which was so rich and creamy. The starter "cracker" with cheese and truffle was fantastic. Desert was good too. We will be back on a sunnier day one day soon.

Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. Had the chef’s menu. Delicious local food presented beautifully. Sat on the terrace with waves on the beach below. Watched the sun set. Everything was perfect to be honest. And only €65 for the whole thing. I don’t drink alcohol so not sure what the wine would be. Left as much in a tip as the cost of the meal! Cannot recommend this place enough. As you arrive you just don’t understand how fab it is going to be. The ladies who serviced and waited were awesome also. Ten hundred stars easily. Go now! Xx
