Best Italian Restaurants in Shorewood

There were 4 of us and we split appetizers, pizza and dessert so we could all try several things. It was great!!

Our service from Luis was excellent. The restaurant was packed and we wouldn’t have been able to tell based on the service. Everything was amazing. The meatballs we enjoyed, we would add some black pepper but the sauce was great, super soft. All of our entrees were outstanding. We had the salmon fillet, the penne, and the cannelloni. Perfecto! We will gladly return

Zarletti in Downtown Milwaukee is our go to restaurant when we are going to a show in Downtown Milwaukee. The food preparation and service are excellent and the setting is sophisticated. Our server, Olivia, was attentive and readily answered our questions assisting us in choosing dishes from the interesting menu and specials.

We had such a great brunch experience at Il Cervo! The food and drinks were excellent, and we loved the variety of both breakfast and lunch options on the menu. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and incredibly clean. We chose to sit outside on the patio, and the atmosphere and views made an already great brunch even better. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Our server was wonderful, and every other employee we interacted with — including other servers, the food runner, and management — was friendly, attentive, and professional. We also happened to witness a particularly difficult situation with another table during our visit. The guests were being extremely rude and disruptive, and a manager eventually had to step in. Despite being verbally berated by the guests, he remained calm and professional throughout the entire interaction. It was honestly impressive to watch how well he handled a situation that no hospitality employee should have to deal with. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and an exceptional staff. We will absolutely be back!

My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary at Onesto. A place where we’ve had nothing but good experiences from! It was very busy Saturday but our waitress was very attentive towards us and extremely friendly. The food was absolutely outstanding like always! Piping hot, seasoned great, and tasted absolutely delicious. I thought it was also so sweet that Onesto gave us both a free glass of Cava to celebrate with! Thank you Onesto for making this anniversary dinner so special to us! We will 100% be back!
