Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Kokomo

Great meal! We started with saganaki (opa!), my wife had the suvlaki and I enjoyed my gyro. Always a great experience with such flavorful, fresh food.

This being our first visit, we were very impressed with the food the service the atmosphere. It was all perfect. We will definitely be going back.

I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. We learned Monti is a scratch kitchen, and what isn’t made in house is shipped in directly from Italy (except for the Buffalo mozzarella, which is brought in from New York). Also, the executive chef introduced himself to us and was front of house for a lot of the evening. We were also told he is from a small town outside of Rome which explains the authentic Italian meal options. Everything, and I mean everything, was amazing. We started with an aperitivo, which made me feel fancy. We shared two apps, the focaccia, caprese salad, and two mains: the branzino and the brisket gnocci. Every bite was a great bite. I didn’t have a drink, but my friend had a Negroni as was impressed with the craftsmanship of it. Could not recommend this place more. I’m already planning the next trip to try the tiramisu espresso martini!!
