Best Modern European Restaurants in Great Staughton

Came on a recommendation for the first time to celebrate my siblings belated birthdays. There was a birthday card on the table for them as we arrived! Delightful attentive (but not annoyingly) staff, friendly, genuinely cared about our experience throughout, happy to make any changes as appropriate. Food came promptly, all hot and fresh, delicious flavours. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will definitely be coming again!

Delightful dining experience from every aspect. All five of my guests agreed that the staff were welcoming, friendly, efficient and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The food was stunning with gorgeous flavours - the sardines and the steaks were particularly popular, I loved my Cornish Hake. Great wine list with a good choice but not so extensive you didn't know where to start. The Burnt Basque Cheesecake was another popular winner - just the right amount of stickiness. All this plus a great atmosphere and not too noisy so you could hear the conversations - what's not to like - already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you to the Provenance Team.

Restaurant service was excellent. Food was great. ..as always. Key problem - Open Table did not register my request for an extra diner joining us and fortunately a larger table was available. (I had sent a message just after 7am on the day - prior to a 1pm booking.) Open Table needs to wake up!

I have visited Lussmanns on several occasions and thoroughly enjoyed their Sunday roast. It is one of the best Sunday dinners I have eaten and I will definitely visit again!
