- JJasonWashington, D.C. Area •27 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is a fantastic little restaurant. They specialize in tapas style little plates - all with a Balkan flare: fresh ingredients and strong flavors. The seating upstairs felt a bit cramped at first, but you didn’t really notice it once the plates started arriving. Our server Hannah was really great — knowledgeable and friendly and attentive. And holy cow the food! You can buy à la carte off the menu, but you can also pay $50 for all you can eat. You read that right...they just keep bringing you plates until you tap out. For an extra 20 bucks you can include five premium dishes, including scallops and lamb and steak. All endless. Literally everything we ate was absolutely fantastic...it’s the original comfort food…lamb, and fish, and halloumi cheese…hummus and olives and tuna tartare…beet carpaccio, roasted cauliflower, and steamed mussels. Everything was bang on perfect. The sauces were all so good I wanted to lick the plates. Luckily decorum prevailed…but it was close. They also have some excellent zero proof cocktails, one of which was so tasty I would have sworn it contained alcohol. Sadly, we didn’t leave room for dessert… apparently the baklava is out of this world. We’ll just have to come back and try it! This is a great little restaurant, with flat-out awesome service and food. I can’t say enough nice things. It’s perfect for date night, or a fun outing with friends. - SSelmaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on 30 May 2026First of all, best dinner experience so far in DC and Chef Lledo being the second person we saw after walking into the establishment spoke to his touch in everything. Service was the name of the game, the lead Ann made the whole dining experience seamless, a story, gave us insight into the chefs intention for us with each bite. Sommolier Aaron was the tone setter for each bite with the perfect pairing. I would advocate for doing the wine pairing. We did one with and one without and as the without, I ordered à la carte glasses which were fabulous- but the pairings were perfectly matched to draw more out from each dish and flavor. Other service staff like Julia and Pavel took care to keep us on our valencian Journey, and the view into the kitchen from every table was a pleasant touch.
