Booked a table here last minute when bringing our daughter to Manchester uni , 10 Tib Lane did not disappoint , everything spot on , service splendid , quality of food fantastic , love the way the food comes out as it’s ready rather than all at once , it flows and you don’t get over full to Quickly , all lovely and hot too as the dishes arrive , all staff professional and friendly would recommend and will return next time we are in Manchester

Mike and I were lucky to be gifted a voucher to spend at Chef’s Table. From the moment we arrived and throughout the time we were there, I can honestly say that it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. The staff were attentive, professional, polite, but most of all, they were so friendly, which relaxed us straight away. The food was mouthwatering, with every mouthful being a delight. I just cannot say anymore apart from the fact that we are both looking forward to visiting again soon. Congratulations, you should all be very proud of yourselves

Despite living in the area we never visited The Box Tree before. Our reservation was on the back of a big birthday for one of the party. We were slightly nervous about going, as on the face of it appeared out of league as compared to our usual dining establishments. However, the whole experience was fantastic. It really was quite special, enjoyed equally by the three of us. The tasting menus ( including x1 vegetarian) were seasonal, beautifully sourced, cooked and presented. Great range and depth of flavours. Difficult to pick out a highlight, which is very unusual. The decor is tasteful and service attentive, friendly but not over the top. Nice touch the chef visiting the each of the tables at some point during the meal. £65 for the set menus was actually a real bargain and over all the experience was exceptional value. We had the additional cheese course which I would also thoroughly recommend- we had x1 between two, which was perfect. In summary an A1 experience. Well done to all at The Box Tree 👍
