Best Northern Mexican Restaurants in Coyoacan

One of the best meals I’ve had. Leonardo was our waiter and made the experience top notch—super attentive, great suggestions, very friendly. Try the bluefin tuna! I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

One of our favorite meals in Mexico City was at Campobaja. Every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done, from the oysters and ceviches to the tuna tostada. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. If you’re visiting Mexico City, Campobaja is absolutely worth a stop. We’re already dreaming about going back.

Amazing experience! The staff was attentive and considerate considering I spoke very little Spanish. They gave us English menus, showed us the wine bottles on an iPad and took care of our group. The staff promptly took our drink and food orders. I never felt like we waited too long for any thing. The food was incredible; from the meat cooked on the hot stone to the ribeye with black sauce. My starter dish was the shrimp on tortilla chip with cream cheese (starter). But I love the hot stone experience. The dessert was also great! They gave me a sparkle for my birthday!
