Finally made it out to try SCILLA in Dallas… and WOW. FABULOUS! 🇮🇹❤️
As an Italian girl who takes her pasta very seriously, I have to say… SCILLA absolutely delivered! 👏🏼
We started with the Trio Crudo, which was perfection. Unfortunately, we were apparently too excited to remember to take a photo. 😂 Trust me, though it was a delicious way to start our lunch!
Duro Hospitality Group is amazing when it comes to their homemade gluten-free pasta ( also corn free), so naturally this Italian girl had to investigate. 🍝😉
We went with the Rigatoni Alla Zozzona and Prawn Scampi…and OMG, both were excellent!
The Zozzona had just the right touch of heat, with a beautiful red ragu, crumbled sausage, crispy pancetta and a creamy espuma. Rich, flavorful and seriously delicious!
But I think the Prawn Scampi stole the show just a little. 🦐 It came in what tasted like a creamy saffron sauce with tender pieces of prawn and cherry tomatoes, topped with a gorgeous Parmesan crisp. The presentation was absolutely beautiful, too …almost too pretty to eat… almost. 😂
For dessert, we went with the Passionfruit Panna Cotta with mango sorbet and the most delicious crispy meringue. Light, creamy, slightly tart and perfectly balanced. A beautiful way to finish the meal! 🥭✨
And let’s talk about the service — just as exceptional as the food. A huge thank you to our server Antonio, who provided such a wonderful level of customer service and made the entire experience even better. 👏🏼
Highly recommend giving SCILLA a try! This Italian girl is not easy to please, especially when it comes to pasta, and they definitely delivered. 🇮🇹🍝❤️
