Morning Fork is one of the best breakfasts we’ve had anywhere — and we didn’t find it by accident. Grok sent us here, and it was a perfect call. We started with the jumbo house cinnamon roll. Not cloying, not dry, just the right size to share and still leave room. I had the Short Rib Benedict: real braised short rib, hash browns that actually held up, poached eggs, béarnaise and bordelaise. That’s a serious plate, not brunch theater. Wendy had the avocado toast and it was every bit as considered — nothing thrown-together about it. Service was sharp and easy. Our server never hovered and never disappeared. The room felt like a neighborhood place that happens to cook at a high level. We’ve eaten a lot of breakfast on the road. This one sits at the top of the list. If you’re in Louisville and someone tells you to go to Morning Fork, listen. We did.
