- PpaulaGoldHouston •18 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Aug 2026The host was able to get us into a booth as requested, the waiter Mason was spot on and payed attention to detail! Great waiter. What I love most about this restaurant is the food is Constantly delicious, over the past 3 years we have never had a below par meal. I think my only critique is the noise level is rather high, other wise it’s a very comfortable atmosphere .More infoThe Republic Grille - Magnolia$$$$• Regional American (Southern)• The Woodlands•4.8

- MMattHouston •10 reviews4.0Dined on 24 Aug 2026We went there for the College Station Restaurant week. We have been there for several of their wine dinners and have really enjoyed those. The online menu had 3 courses including salad, entree and dessert for $55 per person. When we got there, they informed us two of the entrees were not available. That was disappointing because I wanted to try the Porter Pork Chop. However, they let me substitute their Blackened Redfish for my entree. So, my wife had the Caesar Salad, Grilled Salmon and Strawberry Cream Pie. I had the Garden Salad, Blackened Redfish and Bourbon Pecan Bread Pudding. The salads were huge, almost an entree. Victoria, the manager let us know that in the future those would probably be more of a side salad size. Our entrees were both great! The salmon had a corn puree underneath that was delicious. The redfish had roasted corn and black bean pilaf underneath that was also very good. The redfish was spicy, but not overwhelming. The dessert were both very good as well. Portion sizes were great and we both got plenty to eat. Service was amazing and we had a nice conversation with the manager, Victoria. We will definitely be back.More infoBrazos-Proper Texas Kitchen$$$$• Regional American (Southern)• College Station•4.1
